I posted a few weeks ago that baby boy was becoming too reliant on the dummy in the night despite being able to self settle for naps/down for bedtime.
I was getting exhausted putting the dummy in every few hours as it takes me a long time to get back to sleep once awake. So we decided to just go cold turkey.
First night= awful
Second night= better but still bad
Third night= slept through
And has done every night since. Don't get me wrong, he still wakes occasionally but I hear him shuffling/rubbing his face to get back to sleep.
If you are in the same situation, I definitely say go cold turkey whilst they are still young/not attached.

I tried this and by night 3, I gave up because he just can’t deal without it. 😂 He doesn’t sleep through anyway and woke up multiple times when he didn’t have it. Wish it worked for us 🥲
