Are any breast l feeding Mummas using a dummy yet? Struggling to get any sleep as my little one is cluster feeding and also using me as a dummy wanting comfort every time I put her down in her crib at night. She’s almost constantly latched on overnight and it’s just exhausting 🙈

We're breastfeeding and using the mam dummys and it hasn't effected baby at all so far and he's 9 days old x

Breastfeeding and also using MAM dummies ☺️
I tend to break her latch when she falls asleep / stops feeding and pop the dummy straight in.
It definitely seems to help! X

We're breastfeeding and been using a dummy since day 2. He was struggling to gain weight and I worried it was the dummy, but he actually had a tongue tie. We only really use it for the car and if he's full, but struggling to settle at night. I waited with my daughter, but she refused all dummies and bottles.
Ok! I tried last night in desperation for some sleep and then the feed after it was like she had forgotten how to latch so now I’m scared to try again 🙈

I do, 4 weeks old, ebf and had a dummy since 2 weeks c

I was watching something about BF and dummies and they said to wait til around 6 weeks because the sucking motion could cause them to miss feeds and they swallow salvia xx

Thanks for this post very helpful information as I too am struggling with decent sleep. But just like the poster my LO seems to forget how to latch after the binky is used. Waiting 6 weeks seems to make sense that way he’ll get the hang of BF but the comfort part idk how to manage

We have found swaddling really helps at night time for sleeping?

I had to use the dummy from day 7 because mine was doing the same and my boobs were really suffering because of it

I’m in exactly the same boat!
