My LO who has recently turned 13 weeks has spent the first 12 weeks not take crying and if he does then I’ve been good at figuring out what the problem is so will only cry for a couple of minutes. But this week… omg he has screamed for a solid 10-15 mins every night as I’m trying to get him down. Usually when I get him changed he starts to grumble. Once all sorted and it’s time for bottle he screams and I can’t soothe him no matter what I try- boob. Bottle. Boob. Change positions. Walk around. Bottle boob. He eventually calms down to have some food before sleeping, but not finishing a bottle or on boob for long enough. What on Earth is causing this? I’m going to attempt starting his bedtime routine an hour earlier from tomorrow to see if that’s the problem (currently we start at 7 and usually I get him down by 8). Any other suggestions on what it could be? Makes me dread bed time at the moment 😩

3 months old? It's the 3 month "sleep regression" baby is growing! & this is also when they start differentiating day & night. I would change the bed routine. Make it short. Bottle, bum, song & bed. Also don't turn off lights "set the tone" until 20 minutes before bed. Basically the house is dark except a living room light, that kind of tone. Is there a white noise machine? I'd play that from 7pm-7am however at 3 Mo my daughter was doing bed by 8-9pm & that worked best for me. So I'd definitely play around with the time for bedtime like you want to! Hope this helps, it's not fun but it does end! When it's morning time open the shades, night time feeds no talking & no lights lol xo
