For those using the 7+ food pouches. How much are you letting your baby have for dinner/tea. We were doing half a pouch now went up to 3/4 of a pouch. Anyone doing a full one yet? 😂 I normally give 1/2 pouch of fruit puree or a small yoghurt for a desert

We’ve done full pouches. Our LO has just turned 7 months and today he had Ella’s kitchen cottage pie pouch and devoured it lol. I just let him eat as much as he wants. He’s still drinking enough milk so I think for us it’s all okay. But I’ve been serving the more meal type pouches during lunch and the lighter just veg combos for tea. But today he only had half a pouch for tea and was a bit fussy. Whereas yesterday he had a full pouch. But that’s just us 🥰☺️
ah I'm only doing breakfast and tea at the moment so breakfast he's starting to have a decent amount of porridge. Then the pouch or jar meals. We've also just gone down from 4 bottles to 3. Extending the amount between each bottle but he's now drinking more.
He's had two 8oz and one 7oz so still over the recommended 21oz isn't it?! 🤔 x

I always heat up a full jar/pouch and my LG will guide me on how much she wants to actually eat, I know she's had enough when she starts turning her head not opening her mouth, I've also found since introducing jars etc she's automatically dropped a bottle herself x

If she wants a full one, she has a full one … then a dessert 🤣 sometimes she only wants 1/2… it varies. If she stops looking interested we stop but if she’s still super keen I’ll let her finish xx

I feel bad now, I give half along with for example cucumber and tomato but she cries when it’s gone but she’s still having 4 7-9oz bottles as well as 3 meals a day 🙄🤣 hungry baba
I know I'm looking for the cues mine is full but I think it all depends on the meal. If it's a one he loves he just keeps going. But then he's still ended up bringing up a bit sick a few hrs later while having his bedtime bottle so I was thinking has he ate too much 🤨
oh my god how do you fit all that in alongside the naps haha
I dropped one bottle because he was fussing over them and only drinking 4oz or so when I was offering them every 4hrs. Now he seems to go 5hrs or maybe a bit longer between bottles and is drinking a full 7oz x

We’ve only been doing 3 meals a day since Friday and that was because she was wanting milk after 2 1/2 hours meaning her last bottle was getting to 4pm🙄, we now can sometimes go 4hrs without milk but mainly 3 🤣 I haven’t left the house since Friday 🤣 I generally think she would just eat and eat and eat and I don’t even know where she puts it all cause she isn’t even a chunky baby 🤣 xx

Half a pouch and if she wants more then she'll have more

Yeah I’ve only just stated consistently giving him 3 meals. Whether a pouch or I make him something simple. Or add something alongside. Sometimes it seems like all this variety of food being introduced would be too much for his tummy. But he seems to be okay. I tracked the other day and he was still drinking around 500-600 ml or even more. His cues are funny though. He gets upset so I think he’s done but if I offer the spoon he still takes it. It’s more when he arches his back and goes a bit red than in the face that I think he’s actually done lol. Only once has he actually pushed the spoon way.

Mine will have a while pouch for lunch and dinner! Lunch he gets fruit or custard after if he is still hungry.
