My baby has been eating solids for about 2 months now, and recently has not wanted to be drinking much from her bottle. Last night she woke up every 3 hours with hunger cries! I've been giving her solids first, then bottle about half hour to an hour later (pediatrician said food first), but should I do bottle first? Please help!

Honestly I do more food during the day and then at night time just bottles

My girl been fussy at night now that I started solids so it could be there body getting used of it still

What solids are you giving? I was in a similar situation with my little one, we had to graduate from focusing on fruit & veggies purees (they digest and breakdown faster) to more complex meat/protein based "dinner" purees to keep my LO full. As well, we do nighttime oatmeal about 45mins-1hr before bed. I mix in powdered peanut or nut butters to boost the protein amount to keep my LO full through the night.
Our pediatrician also said to focus on food first then milk. Due to this we've been doing more traditional weaning. Recently we had to start adding a bit of goats milk to LO formula bottles as now that she has a taste for food the formula taste wasn't sitting well with her and she was refusing the 3-4 bottles of formula she did drink in a day. Since adding in goats milk she's back to drinking her formula bottles. I anticipate we'll be weaning to goats milk fully between 9-12 months.

I was told and read the same thing. Milk/formula is number one until they are a year old and food is offered 30-60 mins afterwards as a bonus

interesting. I definitely find my little girl still loves to eat even with the milk about an hour beforehand.

I also thought it was milk first. Until a year, solids are just for fun and to get them used to eating - milk should be primary source of nutrition

Its always milk before solids! Remember solids are just for fun before one! Milk should be the main source of nutrition. Give your baby a full milk feed...wait an hour or so and then offer solids.

I breastfeed my LO before giving solids. She eats almost all of her portion and often wants to breastfeed 15-20 minutes afterward.
