Am I Wrong?

So I have a neighbor/ future in law, I've agreed to work for her babysitting 2 kids. 2-3 days a week come at 5:45am leave at 7:50. I don't recall the rate stated, she wouldn't say it again today. So it started about Oct 15 before my son's bday she gave me a 100$ said it was in advance because his bday. Then she found a power wheel on a deal from Walmart. It's current price is 158. So no payment given since. First 2 weeks of November she was hospitalized. Me and her bf intermittently took the kids. I got them on the bus, off the bus, when he got out of work he'd take them unless he stayed with their mom at the hospital. Mind you her child was also sick throwing up and home from school 3 days. I spent 2 nights at their house. I even cleaned it, the bf was eating stuff out of plastic cups. I really done extra stuff to help him out to some degree but by the time she got home I felt that car should've been handled it was way more than 2 hours and housework and a sick child. I was ready for a break but soon as she was released and I got in my own home my own child started puking. On the regular she has me getting her kids off the bus for her appointments. And will be gone til 6 or 7 pm. Then on one single occasion my fil went to the hospital. I had to drive his wife and her granddaughter who was visiting. My bil asked if we needed any food to let her know. Anything at all. He didn't care he Was just too drunk himself to do it. He had to see his dad in a bad way and had to help pick him up to get him in the vehicle. I responded the kids are hungry and mil hasn't eaten. My husband at the hospital had work early and it was already 11. To get her to order the food was absolutely hell she didn't want to help us at all. I finally submitted out of desperation consider it my pay if needed. I didn't have food in my fridge for the kids, it wasn't planned. But 40$ in food if that and she said she don't owe me any money except for yesterday and today. And I had to miss out on my actual side paying thing to get her kids on the bus during a 2 hour delay. I'm pretty sure she's only paying me 40 because it's how much I missed out on today. She didn't take in consideration I done her a massive favor, and couldn't do one for me. I'm aggravated because I'm pretty sure I'm just being used and she's not paying me correctly at all. 2 kids 5 and 7

Yea just stop. U guys need a written contract or something. But I’d tell her I can’t help out! I’m starting a job & that’s that! Find somebody else to do it! Don’t let ppl use u like that it always ends bad. Set boundaries & don’t be afraid to ask for what’s right!

It's a little difficult to say I found a job as she's also my neighbor she knows when I'm home and not. I've stopped babysitting for someone who acted and done similar without friend family tie, I easily dropped. But I feel this will cause conflict if I don't do it correctly. But my husband said the same thing.

Does she have a key to your house? Cause working from home is kind of popular too now & during my “work hours” she wouldn’t be allowed over! Lbs but she kind of sound like it’ll be a conflict regardless so is it possible your husband could tell her? Isn’t it his sister? Or you can both tell her

It's my bils gf. His brother. Dealing with this person is a must. Day to day life. It's his actual property and I have to walk or drive by their home consistently. My son wants to go over there. It's a mess. During the meet of the pay discussion he was there. Saying he wanted it to be fair but then hasn't kept up to what's on the bill basically. I had her sick kids while she was in hospital and she couldn't even the bill. IDK. I'm over it.

Just openly tell her “I can’t work for you anymore, find someone else” don’t explain too much or give reasons, you are entitled to your own privacy, that’s it & keep family relationship at that level. Don’t feel guilty

Partner no longer wants baby #2

Before our son was born we originally both wanted minimum 2 kids but we were hoping for 3-4. My partner found the birth traumatic to watch and also struggled a lot with the newborn/baby stage. He no longer wants to have any more children and it’s completely breaking my heart. I need another baby. We’ve spoken about it a lot and the options. He said he wasn’t COMPLETELY closed off to it so I asked him to try and work through his feelings and reconsider his decision. He eventually said he definitely doesn’t want another. I know that I will always want one and my feelings will never change. Do we have to break up or does anyone know anything else I can do to help change his mind? Has anyone else’s partner said this and then changed their mind? I don’t want to break up because I adore him and our life together and I’d hate to split up our family for “selfish” reasons and make my son miss out on having both of us together but I just don’t know what to do

Nursery funding

My child turned 9 months last week. I applied for government funded hours nearly 2 months ago and so well within the required timeframe for the April term, however upon receiving my first invoice without the funding applied and having questioned this, I have now been informed that the stretched funding doesn’t start until 4th May.

Has anyone else been told it won’t start until May?

The government site states it should start from April 1st, and so I intentionally set my nursery start and return to work as the start of April for that reason, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to afford the nursery on my sole income without the funding

Jealous of my husband

I’m so jealous of him and it’s making me resentful. We have a ten week old and I’m jealous that he is at work all day. I’m jealous he can leave for lunch and actually eat an uninterrupted lunch. Take a phone call uninterrupted. Chat with a friend he runs in to uninterrupted. Even go to the bathroom when he wants uninterrupted. He comes home from work when he wants. He’s not on a set schedule. Some days are late some are early. It depends on when he’s done. I’m jealous he can come home at 10pm and shower, eat and go right to bed uninterrupted because I already have the baby asleep. He doesn’t have to worry about anything house wise or baby wise because I’ve done it all. Meanwhile I’m covered in puke and crap and smell like rotten milk. When he is home he is VERY active and helpful. So it’s not that. I’m just jealous his world hasn’t changed and mine has I guess. This isn’t something he’s doing wrong so I’m not sure how to get past this. I wish I could keep him home all day because that’s how helpful he is, but I understand he obv needs to work.

Toddlers

How often are your toddlers asking for food? My oldest who is 3 just finished a whole plate of food and not even 10 minutes later he’s requesting more food. I know he’s going through a growth spurt, but how do you respond to this.

He has no respect for anything to do with me.

Husband and I decided to separate 3 days ago. I've been sleeping on the floor in the kids room, and we both have to stay in the same apartment for a while. He wont stop pushing little things and I am reaching my limit. Photos in comments
