So my fiancé and I made the big job from California to Tennessee a few days ago. Our landlord was selling our place and we weren’t able to find anything in our price range. My mom said she would help us until we got back on our feet. We made sure to come with a plan. My fiancé transferred with his job so that was one worry off us. My fiancé has a very controlling dad and it seemed as he only cared about my unborn son than anything. He was more worried about expensive car seats, strollers, and cribs than understand those things don’t mean anything if we don’t have a place to live. He doesn’t think my fiancé can make his own decisions. So when we finally told him we got turned into heartless people and again he was more worried about not seeing his unborn grand son than anything. We did what we thought was best. And I won’t have anyone make me feel guilty for making a decision that I felt was best for us and our son.
What do y’all think?! Sorry for long post…

Do whats best for you & your guyses future no one elses if they care about their grandson they will make the effort to still be in his life how are you gonna be able to financially support yourself with no home , a roof comes first more then anything , and they should understand that , i tell my parents the same thing because we are financially struggling as well me & my fiance & iam due in april , my fiance works hard but there are other places that are cheaper for you to have a roof over your head & have your own family . I wouldnt suggest moving to california though me & my fiance are moving out of state from california because taxes went up , california is the number one state for the most highest medical bills & there are alot of shitty towns here in california , we are moving outa state in about a year or two but if you guys choose california i would say just do alot of research on the economic side & pay rates etc etc

we moved from Cali to Tennessee. My family is here. It was a big change for my fiancé because Cali is all he knows but he loves it here.

Only you guys know what is best for your family!
Also yes baby things are expensive…so is living in California.
I used to live in Cali and moved to Montana. It was the best decision I ever made. Yes the start was rough but I made it through it. The first year of my sons life was lots of hand me downs, buying baby stuff off market place and having help from friends I made. But it was the BEST thing ever. My parents watched me make it.
My son is now 4, I am now engaged, hoping to buy a house in a year, getting my degree, and have one more baby on the way but I did it.
Trust your gut, be by your mans side, know it will get tough but keep up with the grind and it will all work out. Cali is a non stop rat race if you aren't making a minimum of $250k-$500k annually. Don't feel bad that you did shat was best for YOUR family.
