My little boy is still anting Loads of day sleep! And feeds every 2-3 hours through the day and night.
His bottle quantity has gone to now 5oz so he’s not a newborn there!
Our routine is still very much sleep/ change/ feed/ sleep.
I worry he’s sleeping so much in the day and I’m not having any awake time for him to do tummy time and all the sensory play I was really looking forward to.
Occasionally he’ll be awake a little and talking to him I’m now getting big smiles (best thing ever!)
I know all babies are different. ….
Should I start trying to keep him awake even when he’s showing sleepy cues?
I do a lot of pram/ carrier walking and when in those he’s fast asleep. I’m wondering if I need to stay in more to stop that and try get the time playing with him.

My LB is also 10 weeks and exactly the same. LOVES sleep.
We’re defo having more wake windows, but only for 30mins at a time but then he’ll sleep for 2-3 sometimes 5 hours in the day!!! 😂
I still track bottles but I don’t look at the time anymore. I just let him sleep and wake and feed when he wants to.
We do have a nighttime routine and he still goes down very well at night and wakes only once around 2am for a bottle.
Enjoy the peace while we can I say 😁

My little boy is the same. I'd say he has a period in the afternoon where he is awake but he still sleeps alot and feeds every 3 hours. I'm guessing it's normal at this age x

My little one is exactly the same. Bigger bottles but still every 2-3 hours. He might stretch to 4 hours at night but he loves a snooze.
They'll reach their milestones when they're good and ready. I just try to have a book or something to hand when he does open his eyes and having them use their neck while on your chest still counts as tummy time xx

sounds the same as me…. And with the night routine by boy wakes at 2am and 6am for his bottle.
Yes I’ll enjoy him being sleepy but am excite for more play time! X

thank you. Good to know! X
