When he's with me his phone is glued to his hand but whenever hes out he doesn't reply to me for hours or even go active on any social media at all. It's weird and rather annoying. Like I'm home alone with our son and 15 weeks pregnant. Just thought he would maybe pay a little bit more attention to his phone when he's out.

I hate it I really do. Like for all he knows I could be messaging him because there's a problem but whenever he goes go active on Snapchat for example he doesn't open my messages and it angers the hell out of me.

Same thing over here!

What does he say when you talk to him about it?

Honestly, when me and my partner go out w hobbies or friends we donāt text or call each other. Heās eating, chatting, talking, playing whatever w his friends. Iām doing the same, OR, my phone is in my bag on the benchā¦,I donāt even have it on me. I check it every half hour or grab it to take a vid or group selfie but thatās it. For the most part, we leave each other alone when we are both out, having a break. The only msg I get when heās out is ācome pick me upā and the only msg I get when Iām out is āare you otw home yetā when it gets to like, 1am. If I ever see a couple missed calls then I will make time to call back immediately coz at that point, somethings wrong coz we NEVER do that to each other. I havenāt had that happen yet, but I think for both of us if we ever see that, then itās important. But yeah besides that like I said we donāt chat or call when weāre out. Iām busy, heās busy. Weāre having fun.

It's a pet hate of mine also. Active on social media but chosen to ignore anything from me
yeah but thing is he only does it when he's out on the drink, he doesn't do it any other time but hes active on his socials and not bothering to open my messages. So yeah it's pissing annoying and it even hurts my feelings

I think based on the context, his behavior is slightly troubling. But in general me and my partner are similar to what described especially when we are doing things for our own sanity. Like being with friends or doing personal hobbies.
However if youāre texting him out of necessity/emergency and heās choosing to ignore you even then, thatās a problem in my book.
