You ever just feel so defeated with your toddler? My husband is out of town and my son is fighting me on literally everything from eating to napping and playing. I am so stressed I am crying, but it might also be pregnancy hormones lol. Toddlers are something else. And he keeps ripping his diaper off.

Yes, except I feel it all the time since I’m a single mom. Everyone keeps telling me it’s their age. Defeated is the perfect word to describe it! But then my girl will do something really sweet and cute and then I feel guilty for being frustrated…ugh…emotional rollercoaster! Hang in there mama! You’re definitely not alone!!!
Sending lots of hugs!!! I was crying because I was so frustrated and my son said “I’ll wipe your tears” and started to wipe then and gave me hugs and kisses. Makes it a little easier but so so hard!! You’re doing great!!

Omg the wiping your tears! So sweet 😭♥️ my daughter just looks at me confused when I’ve cried…as if crying is so foreign to her 😯 and then my mom tells me I’m gonna scar her for life if she sees me cry which just fuels my guilt. Moral of the story…we are human, we are allowed to struggle through this we are not alone in our struggle!!! Sending you hugs back ♥️

just wanted to say I personally think it’s super important for children to see ALL emotions from their parents. Then they understand that they are always allowed to feel emotions and they don’t have to repress them or feel like they are burdening others because they have feelings. As long as we show them how to handle them properly. 😊

very well said!
