Is this a normal thing for people to say in relationships when they’re upset in an argument? Or am I overreacting?
My husband says such things at least once a month. He always tells me that I’m unappreciative, and that I don’t deserve him.
He always complains about me cooking one meal a day (which is dinner after he gets back from work), and also complains that breakfast is always the same, even though when I ask him what he wants for breakfast he always wants to eat the same thing and he’s making it look like I’m forcing him to eat the same breakfast everyday.
I really don’t know what else to do to please him.
I’m tired of hearing him say things like “he can be happier with someone else. or other women wish they were in my place.Or things like he deserves someone that treats him better “

He dosent appreciate you !! He sounds very selfish your not overreacting we all say things when were angry but next time he says that to you tell him to go get someone else then even leave him he sounds like he dosent care about you

That's not normal. And totally unacceptable! He is lucky to have you. He needs help. Y'all need counseling.

If he keeps saying that maybe you should have a back up plan in the event he decides to leave. Once you have a plan , then I wouldn’t worry about his complaints. His complaints are his own

If he’s so unhappy, he knows where the fucking door is. You don’t deserve to be spoken to like that.

I know buffoons like him with empty threats. Next time he says that, just say to him ‘you are replaceable too and I will do it real fast if you doesn’t stop this dumb shit and get your act together’. And if he really means it then let him go, be strong headed!!

You're 100% not overreacting, his comments are disgusting, and for him to be repeating them atleast once a month? No way. Open the front door and wish him well being "happier" with somebody else. Know your worth queen, never allow anybody, especially you're own husband to mistreat you that way. 🤍

He's probably thinking about cheating and tempted to leave. I know it's not what you want to hear but when he's making comments like that, I'd definitely look more into. He's complaining about monotony. Saying those comments with confidence makes me think he's opened the door to someone else or at least entertaining them. As well, it probably wouldn't hurt for him to make his breakfast or elaborate as to how someone would treat him better? And of that's the case, two can run that street. I'm sure there's a man out there who'd love to treat you better and you'd be happier with them as well.
Sounds narcissistic. Good luck mama!

If my husband said those things to me, I would laugh my arse off!! I would also tell him that he should go back to the woman who's obviously caught his eye... And she can put up with his narcissistic bullshit so I don't have to...
You deserve someone who knows and appreciates how awesome you are, not someone who acts like they're doing you a favour just by living!!!

I would tell him to eat shit then since he’s going to be complaining about my food lol
