Advice please. DCDA twins 36+3/4. C-section.

I don't have any answers but my girls were born at 35+5 and were perfect 🥰 They were 4lb 11oz and 5lb 8oz 😃 They spent some time in incubators to help regulate their temps and had feeding tubes for top up feeds. My bigger twin also had 12 hours under a uv light but other then that they were all good. They are now almost 11 months old and you would never have known they were classed as preemie 🥰 Best of luck to you and your girls 🩷🩷 x

My Twins were born at 32+2 because they weren't growing they were born weighing 2.9lbs and 3.6lbs, they September 3 weeks and 5 days in nicu then came home. They are now 2.5 years old and had no problems since they came home, hit all they milestones as and when they should

Even if you had them today, you're looking at zero-minimal NICU time! I went into labor at 36 weeks and delivered my DCDA twins at 36w1d, perfectly healthy, zero nicu time. 3 more days would've felt like an eternity so I'd absolutely go ahead and schedule the c-section 😅

My twins were born by section (both breech) at 36 weeks. Due to growth.. twin A was 5.5 and twin B was 3.5 twin a had low sugars so went in much after 12 hour for 12 hours and then come back and they both had jaundice, we were home in 3 days. You will be fine they’re not too early x

My boys were born at 36 weeks exactly, weighing 5lb 15 and 5lb 8! No NICU time initially but both got jaundice which caused them to need a little bit of oxygen so we ended up being in the NICU for a week but they’re 8 months now and happy and healthy xx

My twins were born at 37 weeks and both of them were breach, twin one was 6lbs 13oz & twin two was 8lbs 13oz, twin two went straight into the nicu because she couldn’t breathe properly but she was only in there for 2 days before she was back with me, they both had a touch of jaundice and were on feeding tubes because they essentially wouldn’t take from the bottle and they wouldn’t let me breastfeed although I wanted to, their both 3 months now and as healthy as can be, I would definitely say go ahead with the C Section

My twins were born via elective c-section at 37 weeks exactly (Tuesday last week) and both had been measuring small throughout the pregnancy (they measured on the 2nd percentile for the last part of pregnancy so had everyone worried). The last scan I had for them at 35+6 twin A was still breach. They were predicted to be 4lb14 & 4lb15, my girl Phoebe came out at 4lb9 and my boy Theodore came out at 5lb6, both healthy and no NICU time needed. I had them 7.24pm on the Tues Eve & If it wasn’t for my platelets having dropped we’d have been allowed home the next day xx

They sound like really good weights (my son was born at 32w and was 4lb 4)
Now I'm no expert obviously but he only ever had 24hr breathing trouble and a bit of jaundice. Fighting fit and healthy otherwise. No advice but hoping to ease your nerves x

I had my twins at 35+4 because my water broke. I got a c section because neither twin was head down and I was only 2 cm dilated. My twins were good to go home without time in the NICU at that time. Whenever I didn't know what to do I prayed about it. Every pregnancy and delivery and sets of twins is different but it will all work out.

My sister had Twins a few months ago too I don't know exactly what gestation she gave birth but they were about 10 weeks early and she birthed them both natural with just gas and air👀she didn't tell me how much they weighed but said they were tiny, they were in nicu for about 8 weeks now home and healthy and almost 5 months old
