Has anyone thought about starting it early? I think I may have to because my LG is showing signs that she doesn’t like the nappy. There’s been 3 occasions where I’ve put her down for a nap or put her to bed and I assume she’s asleep because she’s silent but I always give it a little extra time before checking so I don’t disturb her but then I’ve gone in and there’s poo everywhere where she’s clearly been and then doesn’t like having it on so is trying ways to get it off. She has also managed to get the nappy off a few times before as well and I’ve tried normal nappies and pull ups and nothing seems to be stopping it. It’s only when it’s at a sleep time because if she’s awake obviously she’s with me and I can change it straight away but I’m unaware if she’s done it once I’ve put her down in her cot obviously

I'm thinking of trying as soon as my baby learns to walk, my gran had all her kids fully potty trained before 2 and the same with my mum. It's like every other skill, other than nighttime sleep which is hormonal

Btw cloth nappies are a lot harder to get into, not impossible but harder
this is what I was thinking I’m expecting it to take longer but I’m confident she can pick it up
hahaha this is literally me
I don’t think anything can save her at this point😂I’ve tried so many things I’ve even put her to bed with a vest, leggings, baby grow and sleep sack on and she got completely undressed and whipped the nappy straight off. Thank you tho

I think it's going to be more difficult for me because she will be at nursery 4 days a week and they don't help with potty training until you are out of the toddler room, so after she is 2!

my first was with a childminder two days a week and her dad one day (while I worked, not separated) and I just started with a couple hours in the evening. Then extended that till we got to no nappies at home. Then no nappies out with me. And then we were about to do no nappies with the childminder buuuut Covid happened so it was several months till she went to nursery but she was nappy free when she started (she signed to tell them she needed to go, couldn’t verbally tell them)
