Bassinet Issues

Neither of my babies liked a bassinet 🤷🏽‍♀️ and neither of them could handle a crib at all. Cosleeping was the only way I got any sleep.

My son hates both of his bassinets we have. We have a travel one and a side one that connects to the bed and no matter what we tried he hates it and only sleeps like 30 mins. Tried everything from a heating pad then removing it once it’s warm, my shirt as a mattress cover, rocking him, putting him feet down and letting him be in a deep sleep and yeah it’s like the second he goes in the bassinet he’s ready to cry. He only really likes things that move ie bouncers, in the car seat or in the stroller. And then his fave is constantly being on us and in our arms. My husband and I feel like we have no independence really as someone has to hold him mostly all the time so we have to take turns doing stuff. He is almost a month.

Google safe sleep seven if you’re concerned about co sleeping those are the ways to keep it safe. Worked wonders for me once I found those. No issues and my daughter went from waking countless amounts a night and me getting no sleep to her and I sleeping through the night immediately. I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. There’s a reason majority of the world just cosleeping
