Did somebody had to repeat anatomy scan? Baby girl was in awkward position and wouldn’t move at all so all checks couldn’t be completed. Feeling anxious as first time pregnant, is this normal or does it mean something wrong with baby ?

Yup if I remember correctly it happened with both of mine, they only saw like half of what they needed to, went back 2 weeks later and scan was completed

Yep I did with my second - she was in an awkward position so couldn’t get all the heart measurements.
Came back for another scan and everything was perfect - and she is a very healthy and happy 10 month old now.
It’s completely valid and normal to be feel anxious, but also completely normal to need a repeat scan. Easier said than done but try not to stress, the sonography would have said if they had concerns xx

I had to have mine repeated because my boy was awkward and refused to move despite our best efforts (cold drink, walking about and lying in different positions), he was also using my placenta as a pillow for the first one and they thought I might have a low lying placenta. When I went back for the second scan all was well and he'd moved off of my placenta and it wasn't low lying anymore. Try not to worry, they would have said if they had concerns (they told me about my placenta), you'll get to see your baby again soon 😊.

Sometimes they just won't move and they can't get the view for measurements. It's nothing to worry about. I had to go back with my first because she just wouldn't budge, I had to do so many weird bum/hip wiggles trying to get her to move but she was comfy haha 😂 Almost the same with my second but they dropped the head of the bed so I was at a weird angle and he moved. If there was anything wrong they'd tell you. Don't worry 😊

Mine, mine is a nightmare for scans tbh never had a good clear one. X

Yes, I had to have a repeat scan, baby wasn't playing ball. My husband couldn't make the first scan (he was away with work) but was there for the rescan, so baby wanted Daddy there 🤣
