My LO who only used to contact nap up until 11 weeks old naps in his crib now (although I either have to rock, pat or feed to sleep). At night though he just won’t go into his crib. He’d have his first sleep of the night there however wakes up an hour later. I feed him to sleep again and try putting him down but he just won’t have it. Any tips?
Also LO wakes up 10000x a night. I feed to sleep as it just seems the easiest way - he falls asleep again in minutes. I don’t want to create a rod for my own back though so any tips on how not to create a sleep association

Short term, feeding to sleep is easier.
However, this could also be the reason why baby is waking up a lot. If the only way they know to fall asleep is to feed, that's what they expect in the night therefore, they cannot connect sleep cycles and go back to sleep independently.
Long term teaching them to fall asleep independently is the best way
How can I teach them to sleep independently? Any tips

Following as in same boat and would love to know more about teaching to fall asleep independently!

Exactly in the same situation.
My little one wakes up so many times in the night it's draining. Pop him on the boob and he just goes straight back off. He wakes, I think he's hungry, put him on the boob and then he takes a few sucks and is back off again. Literally a vicious circle. I actually don't think he's even hungry! He's waking to be on the boob. 😴
exactly my situation!!

every way yo teach them to sleep independently will link to a sleep training method. This dies not mean you need to leave a baby to cry or anything like that (unless that's what your choose)
It is a long process but in my opinion worth it.
With my first I folled this guide that a friend sent me. It started with substituting feeding for another comfort (I.e. tapping their bum) and then removing that gradually.
