My little one is due to start weaning and I'd love to get some organic ideas. Can you recommend any sites or books for this?

Hi Priya, you can start with simple vegetable purées, start with giving one vegetable at time for 3 days in a row to make sure baby gets use to taste, then you can change to a different one like this you can check for any allergic reactions as well. Usually I start with sweet potatoes, then zucchini, carrots, parsnip, broccoli, apples and pears are great. Better wait one month or two with peas, bananas, spinach as they can be little bit heavy on baby stomach I also waited with giving potatoes straight as they are very dry and starchy. I buy organic as well from waitrose online and Tesco online. Hope this helps x

Thank you. I have the Annabel Karmel weaning book now and I just make sure all the ingredients are organic

The meat based nutritionist on Insta has a fab program called milk to meat. I wish I’d known about it when I introduced solids to my son as she goes into a lot of gut stuff m, allergies, intolerances etc and it’s just brilliant.
