My LB goes 5 days. He doesn't have siblings or cousins so it's his chance to play with other children. He's learning a lot too.
I'm in the same boat. 5 days a week 9-4 as we also have no family nearby to help. He loves it though which makes it a bit easier but the guilt is awful when I see other mums or some friends who either don't work or have gone down to 3 days.
My LO goes 4 days, we started 3 days and both had a day home with her but it wasn't working for my partner's job. To begin with I felt guilty, but now, seeing her development and how she thrives with the routine I don't have any regrets. Her social skills are brilliant with other kids too. I'm pregnant with my second and they will go to nursery the exact same days when my mat leave ends. Never feel guilty for doing what works for your family 🩷
Same boat here! My LG goes 4 days a week to a childminder and I’m always conflicted, but she’s now at the point where she loves going there which makes it easier! X
I’m a stay at home mum but I’m going to uni in September so my girl will be in nursery 4 days a week. Don’t feel guilty, you have to do what works for you and your family! we don’t have any family support locally either.. will be an adjustment to start but I know they will be ok! Sending love x
