Keeping floors clean with pram/where do you keep it?

What do you do? We don’t have a porch to leave the pram in so have to bring it in the house and now the weather has turned it’s making the floors filthy. I did consider getting a boot buddy for the wheels but can’t see me doing this every time! The pram just lives in either the kitchen/living room (whichever room we’re not in) so does get wheeled through the house. It’s seriously making me want a porch extension so it can live in there!

Do you have a car? How far is your car? On the drive or side of the road? I plan to keep my pram in my car (shortage of space anyway), and if I need it it's just a short few steps with bubba in toe to go get it when needed! ☺️

I leave mine in the boot or in the garage

Ye mine stays in the boot.

If you dont have car ...What about a bike hold kinds thing for garden if you have one ? Or ya can get like big plastic box type things fpr garden from like b and q or something ...domt think they are that expensive ...gotta be cheaper than a porch extension anyway 🤷‍♀️

It stays in my car

Stays in the boot. Or get some shower caps for the wheels.

Avatar

Yup stays in the car! I saw a hack where you put shower caps over pram wheels to stop the dirt, if that’ll work for you?

Avatar

You can fold it and then try placing it on shoes tray which you can buy from Ikea

Avatar

We don't have a car so we have storage over the door to hang it on.

Avatar

We will fold it and keep it in the living room. We got like a rubber mat from amazon to collect any water/dirt

Avatar

We don’t have a hallway or porch or even a driveway but if I can park outside the house then I just leave the pram in the boots

Avatar

Get some shower hats or disposable food covers and sling them on the wheels as you bring it in 👍🏽

Avatar

is your pram a one hand fold one?

Avatar

We have a small house too so ours lived in the car. I have seen cossato do one that folds up really small though so if I had another I would look into that.

Yep car boot for me too

Avatar

You can buy wheel covers on shein they are great! But it’s obviously hard to push with them on lol it is still possible lol!

Avatar

Leave it in the car boot

Avatar

I leave mine in the car boot but before in my old house I’d cut out a big enough piece of carpet from carpet leftovers and keep that right next to the door and leave pram there

Avatar

Boot of the car

Avatar

Can you get a lil mini shed type thing/bin shed situation that you could lock and keep by the front door so it's not wheeled inside?

Avatar

I wipe it with anti bacterial wipes and then let it air dry for half an hour and then folded it where there is space

Avatar

I use to fold at the door and carry it in and had a mat I use to place it on specifically

5 month old activities

Hey everyone my baby is 5 months old and I want to reduce/cut screen time as I have read up on how bad it is what activities did people do to keep their baby entertained. Thank you in advance.

My friend is over from another country but I don't feel like leaving the house

One of my old friend's is visiting where I currently live and we agreed to meet up today but I feel so tired and exhausted from everything that's been going on with me. I feel if I meet her I'm going to end up having another breakdown from the exhaustion which I have been having often. I'm just thinking about how I need to rest to be able to deal with my toddler and go back to work on Monday without feeling like I need another weekend. I'm torn on what to do so I need you guys to help me decide

Post partum dad

I have a 2 month old. A few weeks ago my husband crashed out because he didn't feel like he was getting to bond with her. I started exclusively breastfeeding around that time and honestly didnt see the big deal. Baby and I left for a few days and when we got back home, everything was fine. He was extremely hands-on. He helped with my meals, her bedtime, bath, stories.....for a few weeks it was great. Then he randomly sounds depressed af. He says our lo is better off without him, he wants to sleep all day , he asks me not to watch tv then tried playing a video game. He refused to reply to me when i asked any follow-up questions. Then he woke up our baby trying to race me to the bathroom first thing in the morning . He's doing a weird mix of crying, trying, and giving up. Im starting to feel like I cant handle him not being able to handle life with baby and just want to be alone. Are there resources for men?

Weaning

Hello mamas, could I get some advice please with how and what to wean as started this week with my baby but not really what to give and when what time day. Have started with puree vegetables and making them myself and offering it in the evening to my baby but she tends to get irritated and tired and has a few spoonfulls and then gives up and has a meltdown. So I’m questioning myself am I feeding her wrong time of day and what’s best to mix the food with milk or baby rice please.

Do I need to pay anything when my child starts school in September

I'm a new mum and obviously didn't grow up in the uk. I currently pay roughly £640 for nursery fees. I'm wondering if my expenses will reduce when my LO starts school or there'll be other expenses (besides bags, uniform etc) will my expenses be anywhere close to £600 monthly?
