I keep seeing lots of posts about sleep and how to get a baby to sleep longer or comparing their baby who is only doing a few hrs vs a baby sleeping through or worrying they are sleeping too long. All babies are different, this is my second and I will say, she is a very laid back easy baby and sleeps well doing sometimes 10h stretches. Her older sister did not sleep this well until getting one for 1 year old. And until 18 months she would usually wake for a feed at around 4am still. So all babies are different and I am a true believer that it’s just how the baby is (I haven’t done any special tricks with this one to help her sleep) some have higher sleep needs than others. Some are just early risers, some like to go to bed late or early. My toddler dropped naps before 2, some 2 year olds I know are still having 2-3 hour naps.
My first was also combi fed and my second EBF so her nightly bottle to “fill her up” still didn’t make her sleep longer.

Exactly the same here, my first was an excellent sleeper, slept through the night from 8 weeks old, my second sleeps for an hour at a time. I've done nothing different with both children

Yessss my current baby sleeps 12 hours straight, my first was still waking up every 45 minutes at 3 years, didn’t sleep through until after his 4th birthday 🥴 did nothing different with either
Only lived at my address for 5 months, I can’t go into detail of everything that’s happened with this 1 neighbour because it’s too much 🤣 but basically he’s weird and creepy as f*. He’s wanting too much information about my toddler, i am 4 weeks pp and haven’t answered the door once (since giving birth) to his parcels being left here or him ringing my bell. I feel like I’m being a bad neighbour but he’s just too much. I don’t want to stand at my door having the same repetitive conversation of him delving too much into my life, while I have a baby and a toddler now to watch.
Also my dog only barks at him…
He stares into my window every time he walks by (he lives right next door) honestly I wish I could spew every encounter I’ve had with him here but it’s too much 🤣😅 anyway - how do I stop feeling like a nasty neighbour? I don’t want him to hate me incase he is a psycho and tries anything but I also don’t want him to speak to me…

I have just had my 5 day appointment and my baby has dropped 9%. I've been booked for a reweigh on Monday and told if she's lost more we will be sent to hospital. I said that's fine but I will refuse any feeding plan as I was put on one last time ( triple feeding) and it made my daughter projectile vomit and my mh plummet. She then asked if I had through about pumping and I said no I won't be pumping 5 days PP and 1 day after my milk has come in. Honestly the whole appointment has left me so angry at the pressure they put on us to get back to birth weight in 10 days. My partner also said she was weighed wearing a hat and blanket ( I had a c section so couldjt se)

My hasn’t had a poo for almost 6 days now. He’s mostly breastfed and once in a while on formula. Have spoken to health visitor but was adviced to
Monitor. I’ve also done lots of exercises with my baby like bicycle ride and tummy massage but nothing. His tummy is soft and winds a lot but no poo yet. Should I still be worried ? Almost 7 weeks

How much colostrum should I bring with me to the hospital? I’ve got about 20ml but don’t want to take all of the syringes with me as I know I won’t use them all. Thank you 😊
