17 weeks no bump - worried😟

I’m 17+2 and have no bump. I’m so worried that my baby is tiny or something is wrong. I’m not a small girly generally. I’m a size 12/14 and have wide hips. I do usually gym a lot (haven’t since finding out!)

I just really thought i’d have a bump by now

Do not stress!! My first pregnancy i literally did not have a bump until like 6 months and definitely didn't show properly until 8 months.
Some have bumps straight away others don't.

It’s soooo normal in first pregnancy not to get a bump until 20+ weeks please don’t stress at all! Also don’t worry about eating lots and not gaining your body is burning so many calories working overtime. This is all okay ā¤ļø

Try to not stress about it every women is different and if it’s your first bump won’t show early
My first I didn’t have anything until 20 weeks
My fiend had a very small bump until she gave birth and her daughter is so big so don’t think the two are related

I’ve looked after women who don’t even look pregnant in term labour and there babies come out very normal size some women just hide babies really well x

I didn’t look pregnant until like 4 weeks before I had him LOL. But he had fetal growth restriction. At your ultrasounds they will tell you what’s up. Until then just try not to stress too much

My best friend didn’t have a bump for her entire pregnancy with her first son, you’ll find out everything when you get scanned. It can be quite normal to not get a bump this early especially in a first pregnancy x

I was very similar with my first, I was only obviously showing from 6 months. Especially if this is your first, your abs from being fit can still keep your bump small for ages! And if you’re tall it’s also not unusual to have a smaller bump!

I’m in the same boat, 17+6, size 12/14 normally and was active in the gym before pregnancy. No idea where my little girl is hiding! Let’s hope Santa brings us bumps for Christmas haha! xx

First pregnancy I didn’t have a bump until around 20 weeks. People were shocked when they found out when I was due. With this one I got a bump before 12 weeks lol

Avatar

Also. How tall are you? Taller women (with longer torsos) might have a smaller bump because there’s more room for everything to spread out lol

First pregnancy I didn't have a bump until at least 20/22 weeks. Completely normal ā¤ļø
There's so many factors at play when it comes to bump sizes. I have a tilted uterus that tilts backwards into my spine so I didn't grow "outwards" for ages.
This time round I've got a bump much much sooner

I also hardly put any weight on during my pregnancy! It was bizarre, i was pure "baby" nothing else. Was eating normally but my body was just burning all the calories a lot quicker

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
