Hes 12 months and just not intrested in food at all. He will occasionally eat scrambled eggs, weetabix, red pepper hummus, roasted parsnips & creamed porridge and spicy dishes.
We eat a pretty varied diet, lots of flavour and seasoning. He really loves spice but we do limit pureed spicy food.
We offer so much, followed BLW. He just doesnt seem to want to come off formula.
We've tried everything to get him intrested. He loves to watch us eat and loves to be in the kitchen while we cook. He even loves feeding us with his hands or our cutlery but just won't eat.
Anyone else? Any tips?
I feel like im terrible for having him still on formula.
(He was breastfed till 10m and blw from 7m - so we have tried. He got this horrific cold at 11m and really went off everything for about 3 weeks).

Mine is the same. He will eat porridge, yoghurt, fruit puree and some savoury purées but nothing lumpy and no finger foods at all. He still has 4 bottles of milk a day, 2 formula and 2 cows milk. Hoping others who have been through this too will have advice!

We had similar for a while and it recently got a lot better. Hang in there and keep offering hopefully it'll turn a corner for you soon x

Mine has only just started to enjoy food more but it’s still so little. He still BF probably 4/5 times a day and 4/5 times overnight. His favourite is toast, weetabix and yoghurt 😅
Will absolutely not touch cows milk, spits it out and thinks it’s a game. I wouldn’t worry just keep trying and offering.

Don't feel terrible for that, you are not alone for sure...I was quite bad with the food with my first daughter, I did not have any village and no rest, it was so hard....I always had some ready food from the shop and yougurts, she was breastfeed till 17 months a think...I always was trying to offer her something but she just was breast addict lol :) I was not worried as she was in a good weight...and yes, when they are sick they are not so interested in food
Now with my little boy I am very similar, I can't say he loves his food like other parents, very rarely he will allow me to give him some porridge, he food eat yougurt independently or maybe babana, sometimes some pasta or hush brown...but it is so tiny amount, his time will come , don't worry x

The only thing that really helped mine was timings (always solids before formula) and then basically taking him off formula altogether. He has anywhere between 3-4 bottles of cow’s milk and meals / snack on rotation through the day. Still the only real meal I have confidence he’ll eat is breakfast weetabix, the rest is very hit and miss. It sounds like you’re doing everything right I think sometimes it can just take a while to click! X

My little one doesnt like much food. Still on 8oz 4 times daily. She will eat small bits off our plate but if we put food infront of her it'll be on the floor. She quite liked cows milk but still is very much a milk baby
