I'm so tired. I feel like i loose my patience at night, my baby EBF so I'm the one who's up every night, and change his diapers, and burp him while my husband sleeps. He barely ever wakes up when baby cries, so I end up doing everything. Last night he woke up when I was changing my baby's diaper bc he hates it and was crying so hard, and told me "why don't you just give him milk?" and I was so mad, bc THAT'S WHAT I WAS DOING JUST BEFORE CHANGING HIM.
I know I'm just ranting over here, I just think I'm gonna loose my mind every night. Days are better for some reason. The other night I tried waking my husband up so I could go to the bathroom, he never woke up so I had to take the baby with me to the bathroom. I feel like I can't ask him for anything, bc we are really young (19) and he didn't want to be a father at first, it was when baby was born that the paternal instinct showed up, but during my pregnancy I could see he was troubled.
I never wanted to force him to be a dad, but I wasn't going to have an abortion without wanting it (I'm pro choice, but I knew I couldn't do it myself, and always wanted to be a mom) so I actually told him he could leave us and we would be fine, but he stayed, mainly bc of me (we've been together since 14). I didn't plan for this to be so long, it's just that I needed to vent.

Can I just say that he does wake up, he pretends to be asleep so he can avoid any helping. Have you tried telling him how you feel in regard to helping? This is why so many women struggle PP because you don’t have the correct support. I’m sorry there’s not a lot we can advise really, if he’s not supporting you now and won’t after you’ve spoken to him regarding your feelings then he never will. If he’s not feeling that bond with your baby, he may resent him/her. Xo
