need advice

so i emotionally cheated on my partner a little while back. i’m not going to try and excuse myself or any of that BS. we were going through a very rough patch and i turned to someone else for comfort. we have since decided to move on and continue with our lives.

now he already has a 6 year old to a previous relationship and i love him like he is my own, but i am so desperate for our own baby. we want to get married in our church before we start trying but he keeps saying that it’s going to be further away than planned because of what happened. which i feel
is fair enough.

however i can’t help but be upset often because i just have such a desire to be a mother, i feel like i was born to be a mum and it breaks my heart a little bit more everyday not knowing when we will have our own.

any advice would be appreciated

A ring and a piece of paper doesn't make a relationship work. It just makes it harder to leave it.

Being a mother puts stress and strain on your relationship.
You absolutely need to be in a good place to be focusing on the future together.
Have these conversations now.
Money, finances, parenting styles, nursery , stay at home mum, etc all these things need talking about before marriage and children.

It's better to wait than rush in and put an already strained relationship under more strain.

If you were TTC before why do you need to wait till after the wedding now? Is he having second thoughts about everything?
I think you need to set some time aside and have an honest conversation

Struggling

All I see online or from friends is that they can’t put their babies down as they are clingers and constantly want their mums,
My baby is 8 weeks and when I try and comfort him he fusses until I put him down making me feel like I’m not his safe place or he even likes me and it’s making me feel like a useless mess

Potty training boys

Anyone have tips for boys on the potty. My Lb is 14m and I’ve been trying to get him to use the potty since about 11m, he hates it and only sat fully clothed but we’re now getting somewhere and he will sit on the toilet but he will always stand and sit on it backwards?

My first was pooping on the toilet only from 1y and I would like the same for him but his poops arent routine he just goes when he goes and he’s yet to even wee on the toilet so just looking to see if boys are any different with toilet training and if there’s any tips to give :)

Help??

Hiya ladies, I’m stuck at the moment I don’t know what to do. This morning i took a tumble down the stairs in my flat, gone to a&e and am now on crutches in a lot of pain. Thankfully i didn’t have my little one but still quite a scare as that could have happened.

I now don’t know what to do. My mothers offered for me to stay at hers for a couple of days until I can manage the pain and to help me do little things such as make and sterilise bottles etc. My partner doesn’t want to stay at my mums, but he’s at work and I will be struggling to do everything on my own. What do I do?

Violence at nursery

My daughter is in preschool and there is a boy who is consistently hurting her and the other children. He's 4. Despite multiple parents complaining, the nursery just say they do consequences and strategies like putting him in other rooms, if violent, but are refusing to describe what the longer term consequences might be.

It's making her scared to go to nursery every day and she has another year left.

Has anyone had a similar situation and what steps did you take?

I should clarify, this is a private nursery, not attached to a school.
