I am normally very active but due to past miscarriage in October I have taken a break from the gym- the plan to take a break for a couple of weeks... but now i find my anxiety is so high about returning any advise from other active mummas?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I go to a PT twice a week to do weight training and I walk 5 mile every morning

Not a mumma yet myself, but when I’ve been anxious about going to the gym I’ll do a session with a friend or my partner. That gets me in the environment and I realise it’s not as scary as I thought being back. Is there anyone you could go with?

I prefer to go to the PT because they make sure I am lifting weights and not pushing myself so I am doing it safely for the baby and I

I’m planning on rejoining a pregnancy/postnatal work out class I did last baby. It was nice to be in a group class with weights etc but be given individual guidance depending on stage of your journey

I went to the gym a few eeekd back, and was so anxious as I hadn’t been in 2 years. Make a vague plan, do exercise you like and even if it’s only 15 mins that’s a start x

I’m not going to the gym or swimming at the moment as worried to course a problem. I know it’s silly but being soo courageous. Not even having baths . Is anyone else like this ? Think I’m just so worried in miscarriage again

I had a loss with my first pregnancy and was so anxious about exercise in my second pregnancy but did keep running regularly until about 31 weeks and my little girl is now 20 months old and healthy as. I’m 6 weeks with this little one and have been running 2-3 times per week and plan to keep doing so as long as possible again

I’m usually very active but have been advised to slow down my activity levels due to multiple previous losses & some issues like bleeding & cramps earlier in this pregnancy. I’m now 9 weeks and having no issues anymore since slowing down. I personally won’t be picking up my levels until given the all clear to do so
This is a potty shot scan pic from my 20 week scan - we had a private scan at 17 weeks and were told one gender. Fast forward to 20 week scan and we have just been told the opposite gender.
Would love anyone’s opinions on what gender we are having?! X

I'm having my c-section next week, after having had a natural birth last year. I'm not actually worried about the procedure itself, more about what to expect after. What would you say was the worse day, and when would you say you really started to feel better? Thanks so much!

Am I wrong for being a bit upset? So right when I found it I was pregnant, before I even had a Obgyn visit…I was having pretty bad one-sided abdominal pain. I had went to the ER three times because of it. The first time I was diagnosed with pregnancy of unknown location, so basically a possible ectopic. I had gotten ultrasounds three times the first two times it was still too early to see anything and the third time I went they were able to locate the pregnancy in the uterus. I was around six weeks at the time they could see the pregnancy.Am I wrong for asking my OBGYN for an ultrasound? The Three ultrasounds I did get at the ER were only to confirm location and I didn’t get to see anything at all the monitor was turned away from me each time and couldn’t even ask questions as the ER doctor would explain what the technician seen the whole time. They said pregnancy was in the uterus but said the heartrate of 108 was a little low for that gestational age. and I asked my obgyn if I could get a routine ultrasound and they obviously seen the 3 ultrasounds on my mychart and said that they only usually do one and I won’t be getting one until 20 weeks. So because I went to the ER and got a bunk ass ultrasound I’m now unable to see how things are progressing at almost 9 weeks. I don’t even know if the baby is still growing. When I lived in Michigan before I moved and with my first child I got an ultrasound too many times to count. I guess I’m just disappointed

Hey! I am 38 weeks and my baby is always very very active but today seems a bit less than normal. I still can feel him moving but less. Would you consider this a reason to call the triage?

What exactly do contractions feel like? I’m not sure exactly what to be looking out for. I’ve had some sharp sharp pains on my right side almost like period cramps but way amplified and they last for about 5 or so minutes but they aren’t constant. I have a very high pain tolerance so I’m not sure if that’s a contraction or if it’s her moving and hitting a nerve. They haven’t brought me to my knees or anything but they are definitely annoying lol.

Hi,
For mum mums that had cesarean section, how long did you have to use pain relief? I am 8 days post up, and I am still using pain relief cause I still have some pain.
