My husband doesn't get why I'm so stressed out all the time. He doesn't get why I make a big deal over things like meal planning, or planning dates, or planning our son's summer camp. He also doesn't get why I am frustrated when I have to delegate housework to him.
What's a better way to explain to a thick headed male what the mental load is like of a working mom? (I work full time as a project manager and developer within a marketing team AND I work from home to take care of our son while he is at work.)

It takes more patience for a meat head . I love your life I think it sounds like you are doing great. I think you know yourself you aren’t doing that good at describing the mental load because you used words like “ made a big deal” and “Frustrated” when delegating chores so that’s the first step to solving the solution is finding the problem You can solve. Ur husbands head being dense is not in your hands but it being easier for you lays in the work you put into yourself. Simple things like tone, respect and saying please in a soft voice. Being more vulnerable instead of demanding could make it EASIER for your husband to UNDERSTAND and encourage and motivate him to want to help and spend time with you by picking up some of the burden. And if you don’t think I’m rude I would love to hear how to be more like you if you have any time to spare.

Stops having sex, if that doesn’t work then Leave. It works, that’s the only way they learn.
Men need to hear the honest truth no matter what. Real and direct without disrespect. Without crying without screaming.
I felt out of love years ago but I still stayed and he could sense that. So he rebelled in different ways, pushing my boundaries so I could finally explode open up and be honest and tell him how I truly felt about him. His approach was not the best (bc he’s avoidant n no ones perfect) but it worked. I finally did what I always wanted to do and left and was direct with him. So now he feels he’s living in the truth not fakeness and he can work with that.
women ask “why do men want to do things right after we break up?“ it’s bc we kept having sex with them and giving them chances instead of acting on how we really feel which is to stand up for ourselves and leave. Cuz trust me if u had the money u would have left long time ago

Girl. Men learn by experience. Literally… trade places. Let him do it. He will learn. Ask him to meal prep and grocery shop, plan a date, and any of the orher invisible labor women do. I let my husband read these complaints on this app to help him see… he wants to outperform other men so he tries! I also have him do it since he think it easy… he then learns.
Can someone give me the courage as we have a 6month old together and i live with my inlaws.
I need to know i’ll somehow do this, and we will be okay. I fully depend on him financially aswell. I have no savings. And my family lives in another country.
Edit: I need courage to leave, not stay. And its more serious than miscommunication.

My husband and I had our son in December and at first he couldn't leave me alone(we didnwait the full 6 weeks before actually doing anything) but around March or April he kinda just lost interest in anything pertaining to us... since then it just seems like any time I try to initiate anything intimate there's always a reason as to why we can't but when he goes to sleep he wants to touch on me like he hadn't just given me a million excuses as to why he didn't want to. We've been together for 7 years and married for 1 so I know it's normal for couples to lose their spark I just didn't think it was going to be so one sided or soon I mean hell we're both in our mid 20s. It makes me feel like there's something wrong with me and I just don't know what to do when I bring it up he gets mad at me like I'm accusing him of something but I just want to know what's changed.

Honestly, I don’t know how some Mums get things done. I found newborn infinitely easier than 3 months. His wake windows are long and his naps are short. He doesn’t like to be put down for too long. He seems to be getting bored of his toys. He loves people and social interaction. He loves going out for walks & outings but between that when I need to get things done at home, how do I!? He goes in the carrier but it’s 50/50 chance whether he’ll take to it. If he had it his way I would be carrying him around all day. What is everyone else doing?

Am I mean for keeping my toddler off pre-school in the fear we catch a sickness bug that’s going round?
We have plans next weekend and I really don’t want us coming down with anything before hand 🤦🏻♀️🙈

My boy is 3 weeks and Im struggling so much. Every feed feels tense as i don't know if he'll drink calmly and then go to sleep or fuss/squirm/cry and spit up. I don't know how I'm ever going to leave the house with him like this. How do people do it? He was fussy this morning and I ended up just handing him over to my husband. Once he settled a d fell asleep I just lay in bed cuddling him, too scared to move or get up and do anything. I didn't have any breakfast and only managed to get up at lunch time as I needed to make him some more formula. I love him so much but I feel like such a useless mother.

I don't know who to share it with, because I don't want to come off as ungrateful for such a healthy, big boy.. but my son is now 2 and a half, and officially 92% in height, and 94% in weight. He was born at 21 inches, and has always been in the high 80-90% range for height, weight, and head size.
It's just.. it's hard. He's 2. He's still waiting to be held all the time, and it was starting to be a struggle to hold him starting around a year old. It's not fair to him. I feel guilty. He didn't understand why I would have to put him down so quickly when he was younger, and I hope it didn't make him feel like I didn't want to or something.
It's a weird situation that none of my friends can relate to.
Does anyone here relate?
Thanks for listening 💕
(Adding that I have used baby carriers, hip packs, etc. He doesn’t like them.)
