Post Partum hair loss

A few friends told me this happens around 4 months, it started 2 weeks ago for me and my baby is turning 4 months in a few days

I haven't noticed it coming out for a specific area, I have quite full hair generally and I think it seems alot where you tend to loose none during pregnancy. I doubt it will show for your holiday, I think people mostly talk about the regrowth around the face being obvious so I wouldn't worry! It just seems like alot in the shower and in the hairbrush

I started losing it 5 months pp with my first (not notcied anything too bad yet for this baby) but it came thick and fast!
My hair line was super patchy and my parting got patchy too.
Ended up barely washing and brushing it, keeping it in french/dutch braids for weeks at a time to help minimise the damage.
This time I've been good at eating enough and taking vitamins so fingers crossed 😆

I got pregnant 11 months pp and it wasnt until i was maybe 14 months pp/3 months pregnant that it started looking nice again, and i think most of that was due to pregnancy hormones 🤦‍♀️
I ate so much 'crap' the first time pp, now cause of my toddlee my diet is so much healthier!
I just use a pregnancy vitamin and an omega 3 tablet too! Omega 3 is great for healthy fatty acids for your brain and bum 😆

Lasted for a few weeks
With this baby, I am in the thick of it. I also have a very dry scalp!!
I lose hair everywhere, but I have bald spots on the side of my hairline…to make it look like I have a receding hairline

Can't remember how long it lasted but I lost a lot with my boy and I only knew about the regrowth as I had wild horns of curly short hair all around my face 😅 it was a look. These had only just gotten lot enough to tuck into a high pony and I'm here again. I had a girl this time and I think I started shedding later but tbh I don't really remember as my boy was such a difficult baby I was just about surviving!

And yes, I'm currently producing a hamster every shower but I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week and I don't really brush it as I'm curly so if you wash more regularly AND brush then you won't grow shower hamsters like me 😬
