My little boy is 15 months, he's been mobile since 7 months old and when I say mobile I mean out of control.
Now I know climbing is a normal toddler phase, this is my third I've done this before and dealt with feral behaviour. But he seems to just never ever stop, he doesn't wind down, doesn't just 'dose off', even after we've been out all day he'll come home and be a total menace until bedtime. His favourite new thing is climbing on his toy cubby behind the sofa, over the sofa and sliding down it. Everytime I rearrange the furniture he finds a new way to use it dangerously.
At what point is this like different and need tackling, it's too young to diagnose ADD/ADHD but I'm pretty sure he has high sensory seeking needs. Anyone with any advice for me I'd appreciate it as I'm exhausted every single day just from being in a constant state of anxiety about him endangering himself everytime I turn my back. At this age with my other two I could leave the room for a few minutes and they'd be fine. Him? Absolutely not he cannot be unattended for a moment.

My little one is a menace. Lately started climbing. If i need to do something i just take him with me to kitchen etc. Also watching something like Ms Rachel calms him down and lets me do something. I have experience with special needs children from work so i believe it's too early to say it. I also heard from a friend who has adhd child in a family that it's opposite. When they're small they're very 'not active' than they change. However this is not my experience. I would say it's too early to tell and like with everything we're all different so it doesn't mean anything yet. Just hang in there. I know it's hard. Hugs 🤗

I don’t have any advice regarding ADHD but just to say my son is exactly the same. He is 100 miles an hour all day long.

My little girl is a tornado. She is absolutely nuts. She always has been. She doesn't really nap, only sleeps 8 ish hours at night - up 5/6 times. She has been climbing the sofa for 6 months now and hasn't stopped. Started climbing out of the cot before she was a year old too. She has to have a massive crash to go to sleep at night. Literally be screaming from exhaustion to sleep. She started crawling at 5 months and walking at 8 so its been fab 🤣 wouldn't change her for the world though

3rd babies are another being. However our "danger baby" nephew now has an asd and is on is way to an adhd diagnosis.
But my 16 month old daughter gets wild when she is getting more and more tired. If she can't sit its time for bed.
We have a playroom set up which means she can be left in a secure room with lots to do, but once she figures out she can climb the shelves I am sure that will change.we have a camera in there we can watch on our phone so I can wash up etc while seeing she is safe

We have a play pen. We chnage the joys up that are in there regularly which stops the boredom
Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.
Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?
Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

So my recently turned 10 month old has just started throwing his head back and making his body rigid when he’s not happy about something - like being put in his play pen, being taken for a nappy change/ nap etc. I’m worried of him doing it and hitting his head hard or worse being dropped (he is very big and heavy) - there has been a few near misses already.
He has also bitten me a few times in the last month (he’s got opposing teeth so really hurts) - luckily that seems to be lessening.
Just wondering if others are/ did have similar experience with their LB? Is it normal to start tantrum type behaviour at this age? And if so how do you react to it?

FTM to a one month old and we want to travel to visit family so they can meet the baby. The drive is only 4 hours away but online keeps saying to take breaks etc because its dangerous to have the baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. Anyone been thru something similar? And what did you do?

If your toddler 2 years wakes up at night and you know it’s a regression and they’re not crying just making whining noises and other sounds would you go into his/her room or just wait for them to fall asleep again even if it takes up to an hour?

I just needed to rant and get this out.
I’m 5 months postpartum on the 21st and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. I look in the mirror and barely recognise myself.
I’ve tried different things, I’ve changed my hair, try doing my makeup, bought new clothes and it all seems to make me feel worse.
And the weird thing is, it’s not my c section scar or my stretch marks that are actually bothering me, I can admire they gave me my beautiful son. It’s literally EVERYTHING else about myself I just hate looking at myself in the mirror!
I don’t think it helps that I feel so lonely, I don’t feel like many people understand what I went through with my labour and what I’m going through MH wise now and just think I’m being ignorant but I physically don’t have the mental capacity to message people everyday and be in constant conversation but yet I crave human interaction and friends.
Does everyone feel this way at first and when does it go away?

Has anyone made a switch overnight rather than a gradual change? If so how did your baby react. My baby girl is 3 months and I’m planning to switch. She’s exclusively bottle fed.
