The last month or two Iāve been generally quite stressed. But this last week the stress has been completely overwhelming. Yesterday I just broke down, and today one small thing just triggered it and I feel hopeless and so tearful. Iām worried that itās going to affect my baby, Iām 26 weeks. Iāve got a pregnancy yoga class tonight but honestly the last week or so Iāve not been able to look after myself, Iāve had a lot on at work and home, a mounting to-do list, and lots of other stressors going on. Iām not feeling depressed or anything, but this stress is getting me down and I just donāt know what to do and feel like Iāve got the weight of the world on my shoulders šŖ Iāve told my partner but heās just had surgery last week so he canāt physically help with anything and is already dealing with a lot and he just feels bad for adding to any stress :/ has anyone else felt similar or have any advice on how I can relax?

It always helps me to write things down! Anything you have to do, write it down and organise your time, it helps me to clear my mind and only do what is actually necessaryā¤ļø hopefully you have a supportive manager you can be honest with and let know you need to step back a bit. Guided mindfulness videos on YouTube help too, when youāre in the bath, car, or before bedtime. Breathing and grounding activities (you can google these), all helps to clear your mind and manage any stresses xx
My husband works during the week and Iām on mat leave. I start my LO bedtime routine at 8pm and she needs to be held to sleep (sheās 12 weeks) so basically my bedtime has now become the same as hers. During the week he doesnāt get up at night to help with the baby because of work and he needs his rest but on the weekends he stays up all night playing video games and will complain that he couldnāt sleep.
I feel like if heās up anyway, he could help with putting her to sleep but since sheās EBF, he will use the excuse that he canāt feed her so he canāt. Is it fair for me to be upset about this?
Edit: will also add that on weekends , he will wake up around 2pm but then will spend a few hours with her and encourages me to do something for myself. But itās the nights that get me!

Hey everyone,
I have just bought the Joie GTI spin car seat for my 10 month old but having major issues with her head leaning forward when she falls asleepā¦
Iāve got the reclining back on the car seat as much as it will go, and think that the head rest is at the right level.
Does anyone else have this problem and know what I can do about it? or whether it is just the car seat in general?
Thank you x

So Iām 8 weeks pregnant. My youngest just turned 1 August 10th I also have a 7 yr old 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. I told my mom I was pregnant only because eventually she would notice. But yesterday she said something that bothered me then tried to flip it. Basically she was like ā the nurse told you your last pregnancy that your body was under stress because you keep having babies back to back ā ā I hope this one doesnāt kill you ā I hope this one doesnāt take you out ā so it didnt dawn on me till she hung up the phone . in my mind Iām like thatās really fucked up to say. She says I took it in the wrong context but how??? I told her actually by her saying that I could be very traumatized worrying about if Iām going to die or not. Sheās like ā well Iām traumatized because of what the nurse told you last yr ā like wtf now itās about her. Please share your thought.

How seriously should we be taking nap times and wake times? My LO is 12 weeks old and I take her wake times seriously but so much so that I will stay home all day because I want her to nap properly given how short the wake windows are. My partner takes them lightly, and says sheāll sleep on the go (idk how when she hates her pram and will only sleep if I babywear.) Am I overcomplicating things or is he underestimating things?

My 5-month-old son doesn't want to lie in the carrycot during walks because he wants to see more of what's going on around him. He isn't sitting up yet, so Iād prefer not to put him in a sitting position. Is it okay to place him in the stroller seat if itās fully reclined?
