Stretching pain?

My stomach the past couple of days has honestly been agony, dull constant pain all over my stomach, today ive really struggled in work and had a little cry in the bathroom 😆 i work in a nursery baby room so picking the children up has really hurt today as they go upto 18months but i feel really guilty and useless bc other pregnant members of staff in the past never had these bad of pains/struggles im not sure what to do tbh

Yes! Me 🙋‍♀️ especially yesterday. Usually its later in the day but yesterday started earlier! Mine is round my belly button and it hurts to laugh, cough or stand up straight. I often get the ache in my abs lower down but im a runner so find sometimes they ache a bit more the day after a run but the belly button/mid stomach is usually later in the day when my body is tired of being upright 😅

I find lying down for 20mins and using my warm wheat bag relieves it (but not really practical to do at work 😅)

Im also thinking maybe I should do some pregnancy yoga to help keep my muscles supple as they move and stretch-maybe then they wont feel so tight like they are about to snap 😅😅

Issues with community midwife’s

Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .

It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Planned C section

Having my second baby and this time around I have to have a C section due to complications in my last pregnancy.
Could you give me your best tips and advice. I have no idea how to prepare or what to bring or use post healing!
Super nervous about it.
Thank you 🩷

Would you go?

My sister has her hen do abroad, 6 weeks after my baby is due. I’m so torn as I know with my first I struggled leaving her for a minute when she was that small. I obviously don’t want to miss my sisters hen do as I’m maid of honour & so excited for her!
My fiance has said he is happy for me to go and he will look after our toddler and the newborn. (I’d have to pump and leave milk) although we might try to combi feed like we did for our first.
Would love to be there for both occasions. Is it so bad just for 3 nights?

How did you celebrate your baby's first birthday?

My little one is turning one soon, and I’d love to hear how other mums marked the day. Did you do a big party, a day out, or something simple at home?
