We started BLW on Sunday and so far have done carrot and sweet potato and it's been going great! For the rest of the week we have brocoli and courgette. But I'm stumped on what to do for next week?
I've seen loads of different advice/suggestions but not sure what I should do. Should I stick to 1 ingredient at a time or start offering a couple at a time? And should I stick to offering food once a day (usually mid afternoon) or should I offer 'breakfast' and 'lunch'?

With my first I offered it around 11 before the midday nap. Worked through all the fruits and veg a couple of
Times before moving on. This time round having a toddler and a baby he's been having Brekfast with us (porridge or wheetabix) as if not he will
Scream watching his sister eat. He then has dinner with her. Typically blended/lumpy food and something to eat himself (cucumber, avocado, broccoli) and he's loving it. Don't over think it. I out did my self with the first child and she would still live on chicken nuggets if she had her way! lol they do a free chart on Ella's kitchen of all the foods xx

We’ve just started too and have found Solid Starts on Instagram really useful for meal inspiration/tips. We’ve been waiting 3 days before offering a new main allergen eg wheat, egg, dairy etc. but as for all other ingredients, we offer something new pretty much every day. We’ve been doing breakfast and dinner but one meal per day is fine at first too. Some of my little boy’s meals are just one ingredient, some are two. We try to offer him something that we’re eating, at least at dinner time. Tonight we had steak, mash and veg, so he had a strip of well cooked steak to suck and some mashed up peas. For breakfast this morning he just had half a kiwi. Hope this helps x

Joe wicks wean in 15 is what I did with my first…you start with greens and then move onto other fruit and veg. The idea is you don’t start on the lovely sweet stuff otherwise they’re not going to want things like broccoli and spinach! I can email you the odd guide if you like ☺️
