I need someone to talk me down. I found out my nanny wore my hat on a walk. I don’t like sharing hats because the idea of forehead oil glands and sweat glands gross me out. Am i wrong to feel negative things about my nanny using my hat?

No she should have asked. It’s like me using someone’s coat while I walk their dog..

That’s not acceptable at all, it’s someone else’s belongings. I’d have a word for sure. Set a boundary, otherwise what’s next?

It's definitely not ideal and definitely weird that she didn't at least ask first. However, if she's otherwise been a good nanny I wouldn't sever the relationship for this. I would set a boundary and move on.

Yeah nah that’s not acceptable I’d say something to her and put soak the hat in detergent give it a lil brush off and rinse and dry it in the sun but I’d def say something coz you can’t just go around wearing peoples hats 😵💫

I reckon a simple chat she probs just wanted to be warm and forgot hers! If it was for a reason (warmth / sun) thats fine but if just for fashion, weird! Either way asking wouldve been ideal if they couldve

If someone is lovingly taking care of my child, they can borrow my kidney for all I care. I'm very confused about this perspective 😩 can the hat not be cleaned?

You’re not wrong to feel how you feel but it’s a bit over the top in my opinion. It’s a hat, used to keep warm. It’s pretty understandable on the nanny’s side.

Would an easy solution be to get some outdoor gear for your nanny to keep at your home so if she needs it she has everything. I assume both the hat and coat happened because of weather changes she wasn’t prepared for.

I agree with you that is weird and I would be freaked out. A hat is a really personal item I think. 🤔 she should have asked, it’s impolite.
I've just come home from work only to find out my mum has been giving my 13 month old son Maynards wine gums
My son ran up to me so I picked him up and he started crying and pointing so I followed where he was pointing which was my mum's bag, he reached in and grabbed the packet and then started screaming because I told him no. She said I've only been giving him smaller pieces! So!?? Now my son's having a meltdown....
Told her off. She said she won't do it again. Do I trust her? No😅
It's hard parenting our parents.

My man’s constant comments about my postpartum body got my head f**ked up. At 24 yo I just had my second son in June 16 and am already down from 150 to 118 pounds and I’m proud of that…but my man (who’s very into fitness) is constantly telling me to go to the gym or sending me workout videos grabbing my tummy fat, whenever the baby’s relaxing he tells me to do squats or sit ups and even sending me A.I pictures of my body edited to what “it could be” he doesn’t see how much it messes with me even tho I say that’s not nice to say. I’ve been going to the gym 3x a week the last 2 weeks and a 2 mile walk daily with the kids sense 6 weeks pp like I’m trying but sometimes I’m just so tired… I’ve always been a very petite person and I know this might sound stupid but I feel rly anxious to just try and get back to how I was. Idk what to say to him because at the end of the day we want the same thing I just want to look in the mirror and pretty again🤦🏻♀️

Hello my partner has managed to get us into a lot of debt to the point we don't have the money to pay for bills and food etc. Obviously with baby arriving very soon as you can imagine we are very stressed to be in this horrible situation. I am in tears everyday, my eldest birthday is soon and I havent got him anything yet as cant afford it. I am super fed up and having horrible thoughts which I shouldn't be as i should be so excited this baby is coming but all I can think about it money troubles 😪 my partner has said about writing off the debt which will mean it will leave him with bad credit and we are renting as cant afford a mortgage but going forward I feel like its not the best decision? Can anyone advise please

How many meals a day is your baby having?
I got criticised for my little girl having 2 meals and 4 bottles a day telling me I’m not giving her enough.
My daughters has breakfast and dinner daily

So I came with an idea to split the day with my sons father because it will be our sons first holiday season. We got a letter in the mail to go by even and odd but I think for his first year we should split the day in half so he both get to experience his first with each family. I originally told him that I wanted Odd number years but then I started thinking that we could just split the day instead, and then go by even and odd. Do you think it’s a good idea? And do y’all think my child’s father will agree? He just start coming around and truthfully if it was up to me I wouldn’t let him get any holiday at all but a part of me is trying to be fair and still cordial with him.

Am I being a bitch or is being asked “how areee youuu” in that patronising tone 17 times a day by staff members SO annoying. A child said to me this morning “woah your tummy is getting really big”. I’ve had staff members tell me “my pregnant Mrs isn’t that big”. The kids have an excuse but adults??!! WHY do people make ‘big’ comments. It’s crazy because if I turn around and say ‘and so are you’, I’m suddenly the bad guy. How are we all coping doing this job whilst being pregnant. I’m 6mo now. I’m clinging on by a thread 😭😭😭😭.
