Dropping nap

Did anyone notice their lo sleeping better at night after dropping to 2 naps?

My son has always woken multiple times at night so I’m not expecting miracles but I’m also just hoping he will eventually be tired enough to sleep longer than 2hrs without needing a feed again. I know sleep association is also a factor but I believe in feeding before sleep to make sure he’s full and he’s never dead asleep before I put him down and I will sing/pat etc as well.

Occasionally we get 3 hrs by fluke, just wondering what others are doing but specifically the multiple wakers xx

We are in the same boat! 2 hours is a great stint for us 😅 following for recommendations too - you aren’t alone x

We do find our LO sleeps better on 2 nap days but I think it’s bc we’re mid transition so 3 nap days = shorter naps and actually less daytime sleep which can mean she doesn’t sleep as well. We were waking very regularly and by literally moving sleep to the start of the bedtime routine and then settling her in the cot we get a 6-7 hour stretch most nights, so totally up to you but she’s defo still full and fed on demand but may be worth switching it up a bit!

I'm also there with you on the 2 hourly wake-ups 😭 if you find a magic cure for it lmk

Blackout curtains or blinds?

Now the days are getting longer trying to keep my little ones room as dark and cosy as possible to keep her through the night, what do people use curtains or blinds that are blackout? And recommendations of ones that aren’t too expensive please!🩷

Normal?

Hey guys I need help with knowing if this is normal.

My first born son was the easiest baby ever. Rarely cried at all!
My second born cries about everything. His diaper changes are traumatic because he won’t let you do it and the only way to get a diaper done is to pin him down (we’ve given him our phone, toys, chewies, sang to him, silly faces, played with him- he will not let a diaper change happen at all and just screams)
He won’t let us wipe his hands after mealtime he screams and flales.

You can’t distract him once he works himself up.

At the beginning I was like “this is normal” but now he’s 10.5 months and still screams every diaper change and hand wipe

Is this normal?

Bed time/ wake time

I have a five month old and really trying to figure out what time I should be putting her to bed. She wakes up at like 6:30am which is too early for me 😅

Any advice or mums who’ve figured it out?

Bedtime Advice Please

Hi,
Im a first time mum to a 6 week old. I’ve seen a lot of people say their baby sleeps longer stretches than mine. Since she was born, in the evening we’ve put her down in her Moses basket in the living room until me and my partner go upstairs to bed. She’s waking up 3 times in the night. Would she be better at sleeping if I put her down in the next to me upstairs earlier in evening with baby monitor and get her in more of a routine every night?
I don’t know if I’m being stupid but I think maybe if she’s in more of a set routine sooner rather than later it would be best?
