Has anyone had similar experience with discordance? Did yours ever go above 25% ?

My next scans at 31+5 and worried the discordance is going to go over 25%

We have MCDA twins and had a discordance of 25% due to twin A having a smaller portion of the placenta.. they were born at 36 weeks with elective c section. My dr at the time wasn’t too worried. Twin A was not 1.8kg and twin B 2.1 kg. Now 4 months old, twin A is about 5 kg and twin B is about 6kg. Twin A stayed in NICU for about 7 days, was prescribed formula to bulk up too.. twin A has a small/moderate hole in heart which they never spotted in all out fortnightly scans, they’re jus monitoring and hopefully she’ll grow out of it 🤞

Dcda twin boys here. At my 32wks scan twin 1 dropped by 50% and the discordance was 19.9%, normally 11%, they booked me a review scan after 2 wks. Within those 2wks I was really making sure I supported my liver and bile flow as blood flow to the twin was all good. After 2wks twin 1 got back on track and theres 10% difference again and he actually gained more weight than twin 2🥰 having 36wks scan tomorrow so 🤞🏼 its staying the same

Can’t decide between vbac or section

I am so unbelievably torn between how I want to give birth. I just cant decide, I’m only 26 weeks so I know I’ve got time but I feel like I don’t🙈I’ve written pros and cons for both and it hasn’t helped attal! My first birth was via elective c section through maternal choice and it went well and I healed well. Can anyone shed any light and help me out 😩

Newborn sweating

My 10 day old seems to be sweating through his onesies. His nappies are dry when we change him. The temp of the room and his temp are monitored. These last few nights when I'm getting him out of his bassinet he's damp. We've taken a layer of him but we're in one layer and don't want him to be cold. Has anyone else experienced this?

Further scans/labour induction

Hi All, I am 37 weeks and 4days pregnant. I have no signs of labour yet. The last scan was at 34weeks and the midwife suggested that no further scans are required.

My question is - Do I have to reach out to the hospital closer to the date or will they get in touch with me ?

Trapped wind after C-section

Ladies I had a C-section a week ago and I am in agony with trapped wind. Helpful tips would be greatly appreciated ♥️

First kick!!!

Omg the “There’s an actual baby in me” moment just happened.
So I’m laying in bed and I feel this hard lump at my pelvic area, not once but twice. At first I thought it was gas but gas moves so I brushed it off. After the second time I’m like okay what’s going on and of course Dr.Google popped up. A few minutes later, I feel a quick “pop” and at that moment I’m like okay time to get up. I went to my mom and told her hey your grandson just kicked me for the first time because apparently he’s not comfortable lol.

Did you follow all of the guidelines after having a baby?

If no what did you not follow?

I also get its survivor bias so I’m not saying I was right to do these things.

1. My babies all slept with blanket/comforter from early on. They also all were sleeping through from an early age.

2. I had a bath a couple of days after my c section.

I’m sure there were more but these two are the ones that stand out 🫣
