So my son is nearly 20 weeks (so just over 4.5months) and his sleep is just getting better and better. He does wake up multiple times a night, but just rubs his face for a few minutes and puts himself back to sleep. His naps have also consolidated to 3 solid naps a day.
I never did any form of sleep training, he just seems to have set this routine himself. I know I’m SUPER lucky to have a ‘good sleeper’ but I’m also constantly on edge thinking we’re going to hit the four month regression late. Has anyone just not experienced a regression?

Question: how did you find he had this schedule? Are you putting him down for naps or is he just falling asleep when he is tired? Essentially, how did you experience the transition from 4 to 3 naps?

Interesting. What would you say are the cues that tell you he's ready? My baby boy can self settle, I've seen him do it many times, but not consistently and I think is because I put him to bed too early but it's cause he gives cues way before he's tired. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if my baby is just in a messy stage. One day he had two 4hr wake windows because he fought the naps so hard and I was so worried about him 😭
