Feeling lonely….

I get this. Although I message some friends occasionally, everyone is super busy with their own lives. (Which I get)

I have a 16 month old and a 5 month old.. everything's been very hard.. my husband has switched 2 jobs to better his career which had us sell our current house and was moving south. Only to switch again for another better career move and has us rerouting again. (Which isn't bad because we'll be closer to family)

Either way though... As someone that doesn't have a lot of close friends.. I get how you feel. I joined on here to see if I can make some connections with other moms because of this.

yeah. i feel pretty lonely most days, even though i’m out and about doing something with my baby pretty much every day. i’ve always had a natural tendency to be a bit of a loner though, despite wanting connection, so it’s probably just an extension of that. x

Same. I thought maternity would be different. 🤷‍♀️

💯 maternity leave is so different to what I imagined as is raising a baby 🥲❤️

1000% I can count on 1 hand the amount of times ive seen my best friend since I was about 30weeks pregnant, and other friends ive seen or heard little from too. I appreciate people are busy, have work and lives but I think what has hurt me the most is when they dont even check in via message or anything, how they used to complain about friends of theirs who went quiet when those friends had their babies 💔

I spend most days out my house with my baby on my own, walking or aimlessly looking round shops, the only consistent people we visit is my mum/grandma and my partner is another story so im basically a single parent.....

I wouldn't change my little girl for the world and I keep focusing on the fact shes my little bestie that lights everyday up ❤️
