Bed Time - 4 months old

Hey mamas! How is everyone coping with an early bed time routine at 4 months old? My old friend chat gpt reckons that an early bed time of 7pm-9pm should be the norm but my girl will not go to bed until after 10pm 😭. Is it too early for sleep training or do most just follow their baby’s tired cues? X

At 4 months old I would just follow baby’s tired cues. With my first born I don’t think I had any stable routine for bedtime until he got to between 6-9 months when I could use a monitor upstairs X

My LO is 4months and I still follow his cues, although he always goes down between 10/11 and is up between 4/6 x

My girl is going to sleep between 8-9 and waking 6-7. Nine times out of ten sleeps through now but here and there still wakes for 1 feed, she’s 11 weeks old though.

I think every baby and family is different... my baby is 4 months now and I followed when she gets tired and she actully shift slowly to sleeping earlier ... before she never sleeps before 11 or midnight but now by 9 she sleeps ... I think focus on observing ur baby ... build a routine for yourself and keep the night time quiet and day time active ... I think you will notice a different
Regarding sleep training I am not going to do it because I co sleep and I am planing to do it until she is over a year :-) but what i notice is the more I relax and I dont over think about her sleeping ... the more she actully regulate her sleeping alone 😂 I am amazed by that ... sending love to you ❤️
