Advice for 1 year old jabs

Do they have 3? 2 in 1 leg and 1 in the other leg? How do they find it as they are so much more aware now! Do I give calpol straight away? Thank you x

Yes, they gave 3 to my little one. 2 in one thigh and 1 in the other. No calpol beforehand needed this time though, but only if they develop a fever later. There was the little cry of course, but cuddles and a snack after settled him.
On the thigh he got 2 jabs, he got a hard lump for a week, but that is normal. Just sharing in case yours get it as well

Help with night waking at 9 months

Any tips for getting my 9 month old to sleep through the night? He’s sleep trained and falls asleep independently, but still wakes up 3–4 times a night. What worked for you?

Non Speaking

My Boy just turned 2 in September, my concern is that he still doesn't have any clear words, he points and gestures like hands me his empty bottle or grabs things he wants but doesn't verbally say anything... His hearing is fine I know that, he barely gets screen time either and I am trying my hardest to verbalize everything I do or repeat words when he wants something.. anybody else got this problem or advice?🫠

Burping

My baby girl is 3 weeks and she’s breastfed . I’ve noticed when she doesn’t burp she spits up so I try my hardest to burp her . But when she falls asleep it’s kind of hard to get her to burp. What should I do ? Should I not worry about it or should I wake her to get her to burp

I don’t need a break from my baby, I need help with the laundry šŸ˜‚

Does anyone else have a MIL who insists on taking my 12 week old baby to ā€œhelpā€ you get a break? šŸ« šŸ˜‚

I know she means well, but sometimes I don’t actually want a break from my baby. I’m happy having him with me, and honestly, having someone take him away from me doesn’t necessarily feel like a break at all!

I’d much rather have help with practical things like cooking, washing up or laundry, but it feels like the main thing she wants to do is hold the baby. Sometimes I also get the feeling that she wants to feel like she’s doing her Nana duty, which I completely understand, but it can feel like her need to spend time with him gets framed as ā€œhelping meā€ when that’s not necessarily what I need. 🄹

I feel a bit guilty because I know she’s trying to help, but I also feel like people assume that because we’re new mums, we must constantly want someone to take our babies off our hands. Sometimes we just want support without having to be separated from our little ones. 🄹

Am I being unreasonable, or does anyone else feel the same? How do you handle it kindly without hurting anyone’s feelings?
