It feels really long in the moment but your baby is only 1 month old. Give her time and don’t pressure yourself

Same! I think it’s so early though it’s just the way it will be for a while

For the first three months it is better to just follow their lead. Let them be a baby.

It’s too early. Your baby needs the top up of calories atm

Expecting a 1 month old to sleep through the night is not realistic I'm afraid. The nights feel really long and I know how hard it is to be sleep deprived. But you cannot make your baby sleep through.
Some babies will sleep for long stretches naturally, but if your baby isn't one of them there's nothing you can do. It's normal to wake through the night until toddler-hood

Babies up to 8 weeks literally don’t have any way to store calories from milk so they need to eat because it goes through them… if you want to sleep through the night give it 6 more months 😭

Sorry mama but give her time. My baby is three months old and she’s been going 3-4 hours now 🥲 best sleep of my life. Feed, burp, change, and she will knock out.
My Boy just turned 2 in September, my concern is that he still doesn't have any clear words, he points and gestures like hands me his empty bottle or grabs things he wants but doesn't verbally say anything... His hearing is fine I know that, he barely gets screen time either and I am trying my hardest to verbalize everything I do or repeat words when he wants something.. anybody else got this problem or advice?🫠

Any tips for getting my 9 month old to sleep through the night? He’s sleep trained and falls asleep independently, but still wakes up 3–4 times a night. What worked for you?

My baby girl is 3 weeks and she’s breastfed . I’ve noticed when she doesn’t burp she spits up so I try my hardest to burp her . But when she falls asleep it’s kind of hard to get her to burp. What should I do ? Should I not worry about it or should I wake her to get her to burp

Does anyone else have a MIL who insists on taking my 12 week old baby to “help” you get a break? 🫠😂
I know she means well, but sometimes I don’t actually want a break from my baby. I’m happy having him with me, and honestly, having someone take him away from me doesn’t necessarily feel like a break at all!
I’d much rather have help with practical things like cooking, washing up or laundry, but it feels like the main thing she wants to do is hold the baby. Sometimes I also get the feeling that she wants to feel like she’s doing her Nana duty, which I completely understand, but it can feel like her need to spend time with him gets framed as “helping me” when that’s not necessarily what I need. 🥹
I feel a bit guilty because I know she’s trying to help, but I also feel like people assume that because we’re new mums, we must constantly want someone to take our babies off our hands. Sometimes we just want support without having to be separated from our little ones. 🥹
Am I being unreasonable, or does anyone else feel the same? How do you handle it kindly without hurting anyone’s feelings?
