Has anyone had a c section around this time? Did baby need any support? I've had quite an up and down pregnancy with my placenta being low the whole time. I've been getting signs that I may be going into labour soon so the decision was made to bring my section forward. Though baby is already small (according to growth scans) which I know can be inaccurate. I already have a 12m old at home.

I had a c section at exactly 37+3 1 two weeks ago. I had similar issues with my placenta too. They thought my baby was on the small side but came out at 7lbs so shows it’s not that accurate. My experience and recovery has been great and no support needed for baby. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I had a c section at 37 +4 with my son and he didn't need any support at all.

My boy was born 37+3 weeks via C-section :,) everything was great! And it was an emergency too

Do you have family near by to help after a c section?

My daughter was born 37+3 via c section and weighed 6.1 pounds, no support! Sending you love and best wishes for your delivery x

I had my c section around this time. She was 5.8 and needed no support. She had to go under a heat lamp for a few minutes because she was cold and on the smaller side but then she was placed straight on me. Recovery also went well and her weight continues to stay on track

I had my baby at 36w+4 because of low fetal weight. She was 5lb2 and came home the next day x
