Settling at night during sleep regression

I think my daughter is currently going through the 4 month sleep regression (progression?) as she is waking up every 1-2 hours in the night whilst she used to do a 6ish hour stretch at the beginning of the night then go back down fil morning. She’s also much harder to settle when she wakes.

I’m currently feeding her to sleep when she wakes as it’s the quickest way (if we rock her she usually cries for 10/15 mins whilst we do this) but I don’t think she’s hungry given she used to sleep for long periods of time and conscious I don’t want her body to get used to more calories coming overnight.

How are those of you going through the regression dealing with overnight wakes? Are you feeding or rocking or doing something else?

I feed on demand so I feed when I wakes up which is every 2 to 3 hours atm. Theyre growing and going through a lot of change. If youre breastfeeding its not only for feeding. Its comfort as well.
Your baby's sleep is likely to change several times in the next few years to come which is completely normal.

How many oz in the bottle? It could be that she is genuinely hungry if she is eating more than a couple oz, could be going through a growth spurt as well as developmental x

I'm feeding my LB to sleep too as the rocking isn't working anymore. I can't wait for the 4 month regression to be over 😭 it's tough! Day and night is hard

car recommendations!

Hi mamas!!

I’m currently looking for cars as i go back to work in a few months.

I don’t want a huge car as i hate driving them but want a decent sized one to be able to fit all my baby’s things - ie car seat with isofix and pram.

I only have 1 child but need something reliable.

Could you give me any suggestions? x

10 month old starting tantrums?

So my recently turned 10 month old has just started throwing his head back and making his body rigid when he’s not happy about something - like being put in his play pen, being taken for a nappy change/ nap etc. I’m worried of him doing it and hitting his head hard or worse being dropped (he is very big and heavy) - there has been a few near misses already.

He has also bitten me a few times in the last month (he’s got opposing teeth so really hurts) - luckily that seems to be lessening.

Just wondering if others are/ did have similar experience with their LB? Is it normal to start tantrum type behaviour at this age? And if so how do you react to it?

Inconsolable crying baby

Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.

Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?

Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

BF to Formula

Has anyone made a switch overnight rather than a gradual change? If so how did your baby react. My baby girl is 3 months and I’m planning to switch. She’s exclusively bottle fed.

Sleeping / naps

Just out of curiosity... how many people are putting their babies to sleep in their cribs at either bed time or during naps, then being in another room? Before 6 months? My babies bed time is between half 7 and 8 (ish) and the health visitor sayd i have to be in the bedroom at the side of her at all times... but i dont want to be in bed at 7 every night 😂
I have a monitor and a clip for her nappy that flashes when she breathes so I can see it?
