Second csection healing experiences??

Hi ladies I’m due my second csection in the coming months and was wondering how different is the recovery?

My first was an emergency csection (will be around 3 years 1 month prior ) and I found the recovery pretty easy to be honest however I’m dreading it this time ? Not sure if it’s the anticipation?

Also any mums how had has twins? Did that make a difference to your recovery?

I’m going to be honest, my second one I somehow had an even easier recovery. I didn’t even finish my week of painkillers and was up and about in the same timeframe as my first.

Issues with community midwife’s

Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .

It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Planned C section

Having my second baby and this time around I have to have a C section due to complications in my last pregnancy.
Could you give me your best tips and advice. I have no idea how to prepare or what to bring or use post healing!
Super nervous about it.
Thank you 🩷

Would you go?

My sister has her hen do abroad, 6 weeks after my baby is due. I’m so torn as I know with my first I struggled leaving her for a minute when she was that small. I obviously don’t want to miss my sisters hen do as I’m maid of honour & so excited for her!
My fiance has said he is happy for me to go and he will look after our toddler and the newborn. (I’d have to pump and leave milk) although we might try to combi feed like we did for our first.
Would love to be there for both occasions. Is it so bad just for 3 nights?

Any advice?

Hi I’m 7 weeks pp after an emergency category 1 section under general anaesthetic, because of this I feel I missed the crucial first few hours of my little man’s life and feel robbed of the first cuddle and here is your baby moment, as I wasn’t back conscious until he was 2 hours old. , has anyone else experienced this? Everyone keeps telling me they’ve never heard of a section done under GA and I feel alone in it with no one to talk to.

How did you celebrate your baby's first birthday?

My little one is turning one soon, and I’d love to hear how other mums marked the day. Did you do a big party, a day out, or something simple at home?
