My very almost 7 month old is close to sitting independently but has zero interest. She rolls RAPIDLY and loves moving about.
This week she has been attempting to get crawling. I still sit her up and try getting her to do this but she would rather move and I fully get this! Like why stay still when I can move?! 🤣
Anyone else’s little one in a similar position? I know sitting will come likely soon or when she crawls and sits up herself.
Before anyone comes with the “leave babies be they’ll get there in their own time etc” I know. This is my second baby I know the score 😅 (only mentioning as I’ve seen loads of these comments on other posts) I’m not worried as my eldest didn’t sit independently until 8 months and didn’t crawl until 12 months.

My little boy can bear enough sit independently but hates sitting still wants to move but when I put him down to attempt to crawl he just lays there and whinges 😂 he’d rather be in his Jumperoo although rather then bouncing he tries to “walk”
My nearly 4 year old never crawled she bum shuffled at around 8 months then walked at around 11 months
I honestly can’t believe how different every baby is x

My baby refuses to roll but sits well, they are all so different xx

It’s second babies they are too nosey 😂 my 6month old had been crawling for a week now! Following his big brother around and just hates being still! My 4 year old was soo much later crawling x

7 month old and he almost sits up unaided but can flop forward or backwards still. He’s not interested in crawling at all. My daughter eventually crawled but backwards with one leg stretched out and then got bored and started pulling herself up.

Mine sits for the most part, I do have to be close as he flings himself and topples. He seems to have more interest in walking than crawling though, he just complains when on his tummy but if you hold him up he starts putting his feet one in front of the other to move

Mine sits and stands supported but won't roll.

This is like my 7 month old as well amazing how he gets about without crawling 😄

My September baby is not sitting with support yet either. It will come mama. I’m yet to find an adult that can’t sit unaided. Don’t rush the milestones

My 7 months old is the same. Second baby and moved all time from all directions, but cannot seat unsupported and does not have an interest at all seating. I am worried as well cause don’t know if this is normal

Same as my baby. She can move. But can’t sit x not even close to sitting x
FTM to a one month old and we want to travel to visit family so they can meet the baby. The drive is only 4 hours away but online keeps saying to take breaks etc because its dangerous to have the baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. Anyone been thru something similar? And what did you do?

Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.
Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?
Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

I have lots of baby items (next to me, baby prep machine, monitor- all never used) to sell – what’s the best way to go about it? Any favourite platforms, tips for quick sales, or things I should avoid? Would love to hear your experiences!

I just needed to rant and get this out.
I’m 5 months postpartum on the 21st and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. I look in the mirror and barely recognise myself.
I’ve tried different things, I’ve changed my hair, try doing my makeup, bought new clothes and it all seems to make me feel worse.
And the weird thing is, it’s not my c section scar or my stretch marks that are actually bothering me, I can admire they gave me my beautiful son. It’s literally EVERYTHING else about myself I just hate looking at myself in the mirror!
I don’t think it helps that I feel so lonely, I don’t feel like many people understand what I went through with my labour and what I’m going through MH wise now and just think I’m being ignorant but I physically don’t have the mental capacity to message people everyday and be in constant conversation but yet I crave human interaction and friends.
Does everyone feel this way at first and when does it go away?

Just out of curiosity... how many people are putting their babies to sleep in their cribs at either bed time or during naps, then being in another room? Before 6 months? My babies bed time is between half 7 and 8 (ish) and the health visitor sayd i have to be in the bedroom at the side of her at all times... but i dont want to be in bed at 7 every night 😂
I have a monitor and a clip for her nappy that flashes when she breathes so I can see it?

Almost 4 week old screams whenever he is put down, nothing seems to help when hes in his crib or even just next to one of us, he seems to need to be on one of us and its making it hard to get anything done. Sleep is hard too and he seems to want to feed all the time but rarely takes even a few ounce. I feel overwhelmed and lost 😕 😞
