C section

So four weeks ago I had emergency section to save both myself and the baby’s life. (My first ever section)
Past couple days I’ve had cold like symptoms a tiredness low body temperature but red warm cheeks and sweating discharge that really smells cheeses and not normal.
Just been to the GP and she checked my throat and chest sent me on my way and said it’s normal. (I’ve never experienced this before after birth) is this common after c sections? I was worried I was infected reason I made the appointment

Go to hospital instead if gp

That sounds like an infection. Go to hospital or call the midwives triage and they will check you over properly.

It is not normal post c section xxx

Yeah they will still see you. You don't usually get discharged until 6 weeks pp. Xxx

If you haven't had your discharge phone call with your community midwife you haven't been discharged yet ❤️ but either way they will be happy to help you. You need to get the infection sorted quickly xxx

My little one has arrived 💕

My little May bundle of joy arrived yesterday safely via emergency section (was a planned section but ended up going into labour the night before).
She shares a birthday with her big brother who turned 19 yesterday 💙

Our hearts are full of love and we can’t wait to take her home later.

Would you have another baby after haemorrhaging during your last C section and your waters breaking at 30 weeks?

I have always wanted 3 children and am lucky enough to have 2. However during my last pregnancy my waters broke at 30’weeks, with me giving birth at 35 weeks via c section after some heavy bleeding. I also bled a lot during my C section as this was my second C section and almost had to have a blood transfusion.

Advice

Im nearly 20 weeks and I keep getting awful pains in my lower belly and back (similar to period pains) and sharp stabbing pains in my right side, my belly goes like a rock when this happens and is lasting around 10 minutes each time. Does anyone know what can help ease this and what it could be please? Iv tried lying down but it seems to help worse when I do.

Is this my body preparing or early labour?

I’ve been having what feels like cramps from Sunday, they have continued throughout the day and are worse at night but they are very spaced out. I woke up with cramps today but not so bad I couldn’t carry on with the day.

Yesterday I had a lot of pressure and lightning crotch even though baby isn’t sitting low yet.

I’m 36+5 and as I’m having dates, raspberry leaf tea and trying to collect colostrum each day I’m wondering if this is early signs of labour or my body just prepping. What has everyone else’s experiences been like?
