Formula feeding on the go

Formula feeding mummas, how do you make bottles when out and about?

My 7 week old baby is on cmpa formula (aptamil pepti 1) so the ready made bottles are a no go, and we’re out for the whole day tomorrow. She’s typically feeding every 2-3 hours.

Please give me all of your advice and tips, it’s making me really anxious! Thank you in advance 🍼

Rapid cool and a flask x

I take the bottles with the formula dispensers in holding the right amount of formula. I will ask for boiling water somewhere when out and then use the Nuby rapid cool x

We use a big flask for boiling water and the little formula dispenser pots. We have a rapid cool too

Formula dispenser pots with the right amount of formula measured out for per feed. Hot flask to do hot shot method with formula and nuby rapid cool to cool down the remaining boiling water.

Get a pram cup holder for the bottle.
Pack the milk formula pots and bottles with the correct amount of cold water in a backpack.
Wear the backpack on your front while preparing milk. Add hot water to the bottle from a flask and then the powder. I do this when I need to feed mine in places where there is no table or chairs.

Cot bumpers/rolling in cot

Hey all,

My six month old daughter can roll from back to front, but she cannot yet roll front to back. She is currently rolling in her cot and not able to roll back onto her back.

She is in her own room now, and I’m getting worried that I won’t hear her in the middle of the night if she’s on her front.

I was wondering if there is anything out there that can help prevent her rolling in the cot.

I also need recommendations for cot bumpers due to her getting her legs stuck through the panels on the cot when rolling (picture of cot below).

Thank you x

Nobody warned me about this part of having two kids 😭

Not the no sleep. not the chaos. the part where your toddler keeps hurting the baby and you don't know what to say in that exact moment. I have tried everything. I sat with it alone for months. what finally changed it was nothing I had read anywhere 😭 anyone else been through this?

Are you happy?

If you’re not, please reach out to someone (professional and personal)

Thanks to seeing my doctor when I was struggling and choosing a fairly low dose of medication I can now click ‘mostly’ on this poll.

Before; it would have been ‘no’.
Not because I am unhappy in my relationship or with my 3 young children but because I wasn’t feeling myself and wasn’t being the best I could be for them (I looked after them all and even played with them but I personally felt like shit)

Now I feel so much better and almost every day is a happy one since I have sought help so I encourage people in the same position as I was to do the same xx

Newborn wake windows/schedule

When did you start following wake windows or nap schedules? My 5 week old is doing better at night after implementing a night time routine with a bath but day time is still unpredictable in terms of naps and wake times. There is a lot of contact napping and on-demand/cluster feeding throughout the day.
