Mucus plug

Is it possible to lose your mucus plug and go into labour immediately. I think I’m loosing mine and does it come out everyday?

If it’s just mucus with no blood that can typically grow back but if it’s mucus with bloody they advice you go up to triage or call and see what they say, but I haven’t done into labour yet and I’ve lost loads xxx

Bloody show with a mucus plus is more likely a sign of labour but labour can be long, personally I wouldn’t want to be on a timer like you are when in hospitals, would wait and see when contractions appear if your having a vaginal birth no induction that is. If your waiting for a c section then it’s always worth a call x

Down there looks different, but c section not vaginal birth

This may be graphic but I need to paint a picture 😂

Prior to birth my inner labia were out and the outer labia appeared smaller. Since birth the inner labia are tucked back in (similar to when I was in my teens/early 20’s)

I can’t tell if my outer labia have just got bigger?

Has anyone else ever had anything like this?! I’d understand changes down there with a vaginal birth but I had emergency c section as I wasn’t dilating past 4cm. My birth was 2 weeks ago

Am I missing anything

🇬🇧From the UK 🇬🇧 I’m 22 weeks and I’m trying to help my overthinking brain by working out what I want to take to hospital with me. This is just things for me, baby and dad will come after! Am I missing anything, anything you have had recommended to you that isn’t on this list?

I know makeup/skincare are not necessary but it will just make me feel better if I want to spruce myself up a little!

Sex after C-Section

I’m currently 3 weeks pp with baby number 2 and it was my first c-section. I brought up the topic of sex yesterday to my partner as I feel quite nervous for the unknown, he gave me a lot of reassurance, no pressure and comfort during this conversation for when the time comes we do have sex, I feel completely secure and know I can take my time.

What was the first time having sex like after your c-section?
Is there any certain positions or things you used/did to make it more enjoyable or comfortable?
How/where are you having sex with 2 kids?

Any advice is appreciated🩵

C-Section Experience

My first was delivered via emergency c-section and it was an absolute nightmare. Such a traumatic experience for me. Now I'm pregnant with my second and would like to hear stories from other C-section mamas who had it scheduled instead. I've heard mixed stories - some say the scheduled C-section recovery was similar to a vaginal birth. While others seem to have had a traumatic experience too. I am strongly considering vbac as well, but I also know it's going to really depend on the provider and where they stand. So just keeping my options open and trying to be more prepared this time.
