How do you accept money?

A childhood friend offered to send me $100 because he knows I’m going through a tough time. I’ve never been offered money before and have never asked anyone to borrow money. I don’t even know how to answer yes. It feels so weird. We only speak through Instagram so I don’t think he still has my number.

Do I reply with my phone number and say “you can send it through Zelle or Apple Pay” — that sounds so crazy to me.

Someone please help!

Feel really worried and scared :(

My husband has been super unreasonable during my postpartum period especially with boundaries around his family. He is now suggesting going to his family’s staycation with my baby who will be 6 weeks old and if I don’t go he is willing to take baby without me. He seems to want to go for a whole day.

Does anyone know if he can do this or if I should speak to the health visitor or something

could you be friends with someone with very different opinions to you?

i think we’ve lost the ability to do this as a society. don’t get me wrong, i couldn’t be friends with someone racist or homophobic, but if one of my friends had a different “big opinion” (anti-vax or anti-abortion or voted reform) or whatever i can’t imagine dumping them

Do you get any baby-free time in your day?

Mums, do you get any baby-free time in your day? Time for just you. Just to be.

I feel terrible but I find it difficult to be with my baby all the time. I just feel like I need time away from her sometimes. Apart from my husband I have no one else around to help with the baby.
