What kind of job do you do, is there any way for you to reduce your outgoings? The cost of living is hard and we just don’t seem to be getting any respite from it.

Do you purchase online much? It was making a hole in my pocket lol

The park is free! Pack some snacks and go eat in the park. Google a splash pad near you!

I'd focus on what you have. You have a safe place to live, nutritious and enough food, clothes to keep you warm, your daughter can access to education, and hopefully reasonable medical care, that should be good enough?

Maybe there's something you're missing out on, I work 4 days a week and despite it being full time hours, I don't earn enough to make my way so I get help. We're actually doing quite well on our own.
Maybe look at what you're spending your money on each month as well. I set budgets for things like groceries, travel, nursery, bills, rent, savings, etc. Whatever is left over is spending money x

The cost of living has got worse. Climate change means food prices will go up again. Even without eating meat or drinking alcohol its just so hard right now and even with the best budgeting there is nothing to cut back on. I'm selling my stuff on vinted. I worked full time plus overtime in the public sector. Just maternity pay isn't great. I had savings before as well. Its just alot more harder now than before 2020.

I'm so sorry you're struggling. We just finally managed to buy a house, but since my husband is medically retired from the military, we don't have much, ourselves. We just try to stay positive and be grateful for what we do have. I hope things improve for you.

Can you get second hand uniform for her? And do you mean you want to go for a 5 weeks holiday with her? Birthday doesn't have to be expensive, she can still feel your love.
Having 7 pets are luxury, so that's really your choice.
The cost of living is high, and also people have a lot more 'essentials' than before.
I do mean 5 weeks off school,i don't mean going away for holidays. Its a long story with guiena pigs but it's her obsession, she loves them.We can't have dogs or cats here,we dont have a garden or a car but I wnat her to have memories. She is so attached to them it would break her heart giving them away.

I hope things will be better for your family soon and she can feel your love and care even without a lot of things material wise.

maybe look into talking to someone to see if there’s any benefits or something that can help u out. i know a lot of apps have a benefit calculator to check if u can qualify for anything extra
