I used the frida mom silicone strips. They worked amazingly

Bio oil is your best friend. Not the gel the oil itself. My scar was messy (according to the midwives) she recommended it to me and I'm okay with it now

Silicone scar tape. I didn’t use it long or even consistently and you can barely see my scar

Same as Lucy, Frida mom silicone, im nearly 11 months pp and my scar has been white and smooth for the last maybe 6 months or so

If you’re willing to wait and see honestly nothing! I had an emergency section nearly 2.5 years ago and I’ve never bothered with my scar, always just kept it clean when healing and other than that never used a single cream or oil on it. Now I can’t even see it. You would have to really look for it and I’m due an elective section in 9 weeks and honestly they’ll struggle to see where they originally cut. I do think not bothering with it helped xx

IM SO CONFUSED

Last week my midwife said my stomach was measuring a week behind, so she said I needed a growth scan. (33w 3d) I go to the ultrasound yesterday, they tell me baby is 4pounds 5 ounces and says that’s in the 7th percentile and have me speak to a doctor immediately, doctor said I need to come in 2x a week for monitoring and a ultrasound every other week…. Here’s the thing I feel like they are freaking out for no reason I searched it up and it said 4.5 is on track or ahead for 33 weeks, Also she was practicing breathing in the ultrasound, and her heart beat is healthy.

Am i lazy?

My daughter (first and only child) is 8 months old, a relatively good sleeper but wants to be held or wants me with her at all times. I have two larger dogs and my house is in a bit of a state. I feel exhausted and know I need to clean but I can't be bothered. I do clean up after dinner, clean the bathrooms after using them but everywhere needs a deep clean. I feel like I don't have the energy. Am I a lazy bitch or is it normal to feel this bone deep tired even only with one child? I don't know how mothers of multiple children do it!

Partner doesn’t drive – any advice?

I’m due in November with my first baby, and we live around 35 minutes from the hospital. My partner doesn’t drive, and him passing before the baby arrives isn’t an option, so I’m just wondering if anyone else has been in the same situation? How did you manage getting to the hospital when you went into labour, and do you have any tips or advice? 🤍

Morning sickness

Just need some advice please

I have morning sickness everything I eat comes back up, it was so bad that I was admitted in hospital. I’ve tried 3 different anti sickness tablets, they don’t work. I eat small portions and slowly. Is this normal as I didn’t experience this with my first child.

What happens at a 5 week early scan?

I'm booked in for an early pregnancy scan at 5 weeks and feeling really nervous. What should I expect to see at this stage? Would love to hear about others' experiences!

31+6 weeks - growth scan

I was referred for a scan after my 28 week midwife app when they measured my bump and placed me just above the 10th centile. The scan that afternoon resulted in baby on the 54th centile. I’ve just had a follow up this morning and they are saying she’s now 16th centile and I’m being closely monitored weekly since there has been a drop / slow growth. Placenta blood flow and pressure were all normal today. Feeling pretty anxious though as how can these measurements be so wildly different in the space of 3 weeks?! Anyone else experienced this? I’m going to pack my hospital bag this weekend so it’s done, just incase!!
