Hallie is 10 month old on the 13th and she’s never been a good sleeper but the past 2 months it’s got soo bad she’s on 3 meals a day and doesn’t have formula during the day anymore has a 10 ounce bottle before bed but she goes to sleep having the bottle and less than 10 mins later she’s up screaming throwing her head back not wanting the bottle or dummy don’t even think she wants me holding her. She tires herself out and goes to sleep after almost 2 hours of screaming then is awake again over and over again during the night doing the same thing, sometimes even 8 times during the night. it’s got soo bad we’ve had to take her out every night to get her asleep in the car then transfer her into the cot. We’ve tried everything kept a routine, dropped a nap and filled her up before bed in case she’s hungry but nothings working. It’s also like it doesn’t make a difference how she is during the night she’s fine during the day but I’m hardly sleeping. Ive contacted the health visitor and they said they will come out to see us but been a week and haven’t heard anything.
Does anyone have any advice. Anything else I can try.

Not sure if this could be the case but u mentioned throws her head back? Does she arch her back? Does her screams sound like she’s in pain?
My son had the same problem with his sleep and he suffered from silent reflux which he grew out of it at 18m old. We went to GP and got a referral to peads and gastro after GP assessed him. I definitely think you should go to the GP whilst u wait for the HV to visit. GP also assess kids for sleeping problems so it’s not like ur wasting ur time there. Doesn’t hurt to get her checked out and get reassurance that there isn’t anything else going on xxx

Would that just be at night cause she’s fine until she’s being put to bed. She had colic when she was little but that went away after going to an infant chiropractor. We thought maybe teething and gave her Calpol but that doesn’t work

Milk is their main source of nutrition until 1 she should be having more than 1 bottle before bed. Thats also a huge volume of milk then sitting on her tummy at bedtime.
What’s your full routine. Wake time, nap times and lengths and bedtime? The issue likely lies in the daytime routine/ sleep pressure being off x

We’ve talked through it all with health visitor and they are happy with what she’s eating she has 3 full meals a day of food we eat with snacks and supper before bed and she drinks lots of water and has vitamins too but our routine is
She’s up by 6
Book with daddy before he leaves breakfast
play
we have baby group at 10 on a Wednesday
Snack
nap at 11
lunch at half 12
baby group at 2 on Monday and Friday
nap at 3
Food at 5
Bath at 7
Book
Supper
Bottle bed 8:30

She has snacks of fruit and like carrot sticks she just likes food she doesn’t want milk during the day even if we offer it she’d rather have water
With the nap it’s just As long as I can keep her down sometimes only 20 mins sometimes it can be an hour we are busy all day and keep very active she’s now starting to walk so she’s constantly on the move but she just hates sleep
